Just a nice area. The PETRONAS Towers is spectacular and the Suria Mall is good to have a look around but I found the area quite average overall.

You must be there at sat night to see the musical fountains and the lighting on the towers. If you like seeing crowd and shop then that's the place at Sat night.

KLCC have a food court on level 2 that offers very good authentic local and fast food. The vegetarians can also find good veg food at Saravanaa Bhavan

Ten years ago this was a pleasant haven away from the bustle of KL. Now, nearly lacking daylight as a result of numerous very high buildings having been constructed all around; it feels closed in, claustrophobic. The kids play park is in need of renovation and ongoing building will further diminish the value of the place. A sad loss, greed... More

If you can't find something to eat, drink or entertain yourself in this area, then stay at home and let the other tourists enjoy the Malaysian hospitality. The Malaysians sure know how to make you feel welcome and don't do things in half measures.

If one finds one self in KL then this is the starting place. For basics you have Cold Storage for Beer Wine & Spirits, Isatans for foods. Best of all you can walk from here to Bukit Bintang on an above ground air conditioned walkway and Bukit Bintang Pavillion ROCKS
