Restaurants, shops, malls, culture, etc. This is a great area to stay, unless you have a high budget. But Bukit Bintang is fun and worth going to.

I am a photographer, in 2012 I was traveling to the hills star with some friends, we stay at Fahrenheit 88. while we will be looking for food to fill our stomachs we find a lot of food stalls of which we can find in lots 10, pavilioun mall, alor road. HIGHLY recommend if you enjoy a good bar/resto. This place was bumpin! We could have stayed all night but sadly were leaving early the next morning. Lined with bars, restos to suit all tastes. The people serving were very friendly. A must in KL!

I was alerted by shreaking chickens at the back shop of Changkat Bukit Bintang. The gruesome sight I saw; bone breaking and skinning of terrified live chickens en mass, was hard to watch, but I was able to video and photograph some of it. As for the hotel there, Checkmate, from where I saw this, beware if you suffer dust... More

We spent a couple of days exploring Bukit Bintang. Lots and lots of people, shops, hawkers and street food. A 'must see' when in KL.

This has been one of the best I have seen in any Asian country. Brands, locals, street vendors, photo opportunities, you name it BB has it. I spent hours in three day business trip and found something new everyday. Evening is light up like a fairy tale and shopping happens even at mid night. Roadside cafes and bars are excellent.... What to say about this, all you can do is shop eat and shop. All items are available and you can also bargain to outside vendors. Few things are very expensive than outside like silk cloths and home decors . Many restaurants were there near by so eating is not a problem if you are a vegetarian .

Stayed at Royale Bintang hotel, an ageing hotel with a lot of noise due to MRT station being built just opposite. The street is noisy as well with heaps of acrobats selling all kinds of cheap wares, most of which are not worth buying at all. BB PLAZA and Sungai wang appear To be better places for shopping although it... More
