Shopping & Drinking

The lively area full of shopping choices, malls, pub and restaurants. It's kinda place that you have to be if you ever come to KL.

In my opinion, Bukit Bintang is the best location in KL, it's close to monorail station, GoKL free bus stop, malls, alor street, changkat bars, hotel/hostel and many more. Due to constructions, i have to take a little detour to another side, but it doesn't matter.

The Bintang walk road is still dug and partitioned off after several years, a total mess, and will be for a year or so more. The remaining shops mostly catering to tourists are feet massage and trinkets, and the obvious hookers outside doorways.. Up near the skyrail station away from the bintang walk the whole area lit up and modern, seems to be predominatly... More

It's a much better place to stay than China Town. If you have plans for quality shopping, then this is the place you should stay. Numbers of shopping centers are around, the Pavillion KL is just walking distance, the Petronas Twin Tower is just 15 mins away and most importantly, the public transports like bus and metro are avilable there.... This famous street is centrally located with easy access to everything. Good area to stay while in KL. Malls, Alor, transport, ect all right there.

By staying in this area you have everything close by. An easy walk to any of many shopping centres, food outlets, refreshment stops or night life, and if you wish to go a little further away to China town or twin towers you can catch a free go bus which operate every few minutes around a set circuit to make... This is generally a good location to stay. There are several mono-rail stops and this area places you between the historic downtown and the Petronas City Centre. The area is largely Muslim and so Arabic food is available along with many other food offerings. Close by is Low Yat shopping centre which offers everything you need in electronics and is... More
