For me, BB includes the shopping malls (Pavilion, Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88, Starhill Gallery, Sungei Wang & Low Yat Plaza Plazas) and the nearest streets (Jalan Bukit Bitang, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan... Bukit Bintang is a great location to experience KL shopping style and test your bargaining skills but the major problem is pickpocketting. Be aware from the crowded streets and dont go any unsafe streets on your own at night.

We stayed in royal bintang KL near bukit bintang and I must say tht it is the best place ever. Good place for shoppers and food lovers and everything is available in average rates. Not at all expensive. There is highend shopping mall, Pavilion Mall which is only 5-10 min walk.

This place is the real deal experience in KL. For people expecting a peaceful time and no noise, should not even come close to this place. This is... More

So glad we picked to stay in Bukit Bintang - spoilt for shops and restaurants, there is street lined with different restaurants, nothing flash but very authentic, low cost and most importantly yummy food (and cold beer!)

A really vibrant district to visit. Lots of cheap accommodation if you research it. Within east walking distance of Chinatown and the Towers.

A nice place to talk a walk and get some good street food. Nice at night and in the vicinity of low yat mall. You'll have lots in offer here from good food to massages with extras. Be very careful in this area of your wallet and your morals!
