I have been to Kuala Lumpur twice in the last year. I enjoyed the factory tour very much, especially the jewelry in the gift shop!

Our driver took us to this factory I really enjoyed the hands on experience but say it is harder to hammer dents into Pweter than it looks! Great place with awesome history and some lovely pieces. I enjoyed looking at all the F1 trophys that were commissioned and made by the factory

My husband and I went for a visit last week. We had a really nice guide who took us on a tour of the factory. He covered the history of the business and explained to us how pewter is manufactured. The last part of the tour is through the actual factory. Unfortunately, being the weekend, the factory was closed. But... More

We went to the visitor centre at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon and were impressed with the entire event. When we arrived (by taxi), we were immediately greeted at the door by a guide, and taken through their visitor centre on a personal tour. Afterwards, we went into the school of hard knocks, where we made a bowl out of... More

We got a taxi driver to take us here and we arrived just in time to jump onto one of the free tours. The tour was very interesting and the best part was looking at the factory. The tour concludes at the shop which was not as expensive as I thought. We bought a few smaller pieces that were not... More

There is a tour around the factory, taking in the humble beginnings of the founders and different styles of pewter. The tour then takes you thu the... More

Our visit to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory was part of a tour around Kuala Lumpur, which is probably the best way to see the factory. It was very interesting - very clean, airy and well explained by the Selangor guide. =Quite fascinating to see the way things are done. We were inspired to buy a "Laughing Buddha". Does not... More

This factory has the rich history of how tin were molded into high quality gift-ware of assorted items, shapes and sizes. It tells the origin of the owner of this establishment and handed down to his descendants. There is a nice showroom, personalized tour of the factory to see how products are made, friendly staff and a nice giant tankard... More
