Owner description: The views of the city are breathtaking from the world's seventh tallest communication tower. While not as famous as the iconic Petronas Towers, Menara KL's observation platform is a full 100 meters higher than the twin towers' Skybridge.

The fourth tallest tower in the world is looking a little faded after 20 years, but the views from the top, especially on the open observation deck, are stunning. I spoke at a conference there and really enjoyed the experience.

Until you get the view from you dont realise the size of this city and the high building development spread over such a vast distance. For one extra ringit you can entry into a basic aquarium (which my infant child absolutely loved) and a cool drink. Buy from a ticket booth directly opposite the main entrance.

As the Twin towers was closed on Monday, I walked to the KL Tower. Went up to the open deck to have a 360 deg view of the city. Don't see anything special. Didn't spend much time up there before the rain came... Remember to ask for a discount if you're a senior (above 60).

I had wanted to go up the Petronas Towers but was told you needed to book a day in advance and tickets were limited. But in fact I think might be better to go up the KL tower because then you get to see the Petronas Towers themselves instead of being inside them. The view over the city in the... More

Overpriced, busy and half the activities that were meant to be open were not. I will not be going here again.

We've been disappointed... Honestly, nothing special - you get up, look around for 10min., try to avoid buying some souvenirs and get back. This is it for the price of ~$15 per adult. Kids under 3 go free. There are free shuttle buses from the gate and back, which is good. Also, you can get there by HOHO buses as... More

We visited on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not quite full but very hard to manage around the buffet with so many people The quality of the food and also the service is really good. The drinks are realtively expensive and I was not impressed that they charged extra for water, coffee or tea It is nice to... More

We went at around 6 to catch sundown at 7 so we got both day & night. Theres a shuttle at the bottom to get you up the hill. 10% discount online so look that up. Expensive for what it is..... Good views of KL skyline. Petronas towers are side on so for me personally not the best view of... More

Sights were great as you revolve (one rotation per 90 minutes) but not as stunning as the twin towers despite being almost as tall. Food for dinner buffet was very average and not worth it. The atmosphere when we were there was like Butlins with two large birthday groups! And you red long trousers chaps. I wasn't told and ended... More
