If you just ignore the tackiness of the tourist outlets in the entrance, you can't beat this place for value and panoramic views of wonderful KL city. We ummed and ahhed over whether to go up to the Tower but having visited the Telecomms Museum and offered a discounted ticket (double ticket for museum/tower including a ride up to the... More

The Menara Kuala Lumpur Tower has a nice view over the city. We were on the observation deck for 49 MR, because the Sky Deck with 99 MR was too expensive in my opinion. There was no queue at the entrance (in the afternoon). On the deck you have a nice 360° view over the city, the windows were clear... More

The trip to the top was very smooth. No hassles of long queue etc. It was raining, the day we visited. The experience is awesome.

Decent view from top but just felt the whole experience of it was let down because of a tacky feel of it from the silly little tourist type shops at the lower levels and also the commute from the entry point to the tower was a bit confusing as theres men verbally forcing you to get into their van without... Menara towers is the best place that allows one to view the city in all directions. it workable from many city hotels, and there no limit on time unlike Petronas towers. The fee is very much affordable. Better views on a sunny day so take note of weather forecast. Very many gifts up and downstairs and the traditional leafy garden... More

The views from the top of the tower are amazing .There is an option to go up to the open deck which is more expensive. I did this and it was good but not sure it was any better than from the observation deck .

Menara offers nice view to Petronas towers. There is only one big problem, they are not allowing children to visit observation desk. But is is very nice that there is no limited time when you are at observation points.
