I have had lunch here every single time I visit KL - wouldn't dream of not going there and have been there with friends, family and work colleagues...... I'm not a fan of smorgasbord - and the only exception is in this revolving restaurant - you HAVE to see the view from the top, and what better way than to... More

Like any other tower, visiting day or night is a matter of taste. If you’re planning to planning to take photos at night, going to the outdoor observation deck is a must. There is a lot of glare on the windows on the enclosed deck. You’ll need to sign a liability waiver for the privilege of paying 99 ringgit to... More

We walked over to the KL Tower after deciding not to queue for the Petronas Towers and felt that we had made the right call. There are a few steps to negotiate on the way up on foot, and the price is also a little on the steep side, but the lift takes you to the top in a flash... More

the view is nice from the top but it's not really impressive, we visited it by night, may by day it's better because you can't see a lot by night.

Must visit. Pretty simple really. The observation platform is outside and you can stay as long as you like. It's apparently 100m higher than the observation level of the PETRONAS towers as its built on a hill and the viewing being outside is superb. No hassles, no time limits and affordable. Hint: Seniors get a discount.

My second visit to KL Tower or Menara KL (menara=tower) as a local after more than 10 years! This time, I brought visitors who had come from the UK. We decided to just go to the normal indoor observation deck rather than the outdoor deck which was about double the cost. Guess at the slightly higher outdoor deck, the views... More

We were staying in KLCC on a stop over and arrived too late to get tickets for the Petronius Towers (closed on Mondays too) so were advised to try the Menara Tower for skyline view instead. Free bus from the bottom of the hill to the tower although we chose to walk up to it. It cost between 50 &... More

That's it! I did not enjoy and regret that i paid to go up. I thought it was a waste of money. Skip this if you're on a budget!

For the observatory level, you are 250 meters above the ground. The scenery is ok but for 50 RM, it is way overpriced, and I suggest you pass on this one unless you have never been in a skyline.

- Free minibus from the foot of the tower. - Gift shop are quite touristy but worth the look. - However, for those budget travellers, you might want to skip this as is cost foreign tourist RM99 for the observation deck package. (I didn't go up - was way over my budget). Tickets for Malaysian tourist is half of the... More
