It was gazette in 1906 and was formerly known as Bucket Weld Forest Reserve. Covering an area of approximately 9.37 hectares, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is the only remaining virgin tropical rainforest in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur. Serving as the green lung of the city, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is also home to an abundant of flora and fauna of the Malaysian tropical rainforest. In fact, KL Tower is the only tower in the world located within a forest!

KL Tower is in the hospitality and business experience industry. It offers experiences such as viewing, dining, nature, adventure, event and shopping. This alongwith the twin towers is one of the famous landmarks of KL. Not a structure that is a must see, but both these towers make for compelling viewing in the night from any part of the city. These are very well lit all through the night and the views from the hotel room were good to behold

This is the best building form which to see KL. The observatory floor is spacious and the views are impressive - much better than Pretonas Towers

We chose to go up the KL tower instead of Petronas as it offers 360 views (I assume Petronas is from the walkway and thus not a full 360 view but may be wrong) They are a few other things on the same site (mini zoo, aquarium etc) and they are quite keen to sell you a deal package to... More

This is a "must do" when in Kuala Lumpur. We prebooked dinner and a visit to the observationdeck. We booked at 9pm, wich was nice and less crowdy, but I would prefer to book the 6:30pm if we had the chance. Its to dark and even If we can see the light, a earlier visit wouldve given us the chance... More

I visited this tower (which was formerly the tallest structure in KL) bcos the Petronas towers were closed. So glad I visited. Especially loved the small zoo at base of the building

The kl tower is difficult to get to and from without an expensive taxi ride and the queues are enormous. as it also has a restaurant that was very popular. The organisation into the lifts which are also used for the restaurant is chaotic and there is no airconditioning whilst you wait.As we had been to The Petroneas Towers in the...
