Having read about Peter Hoe's Beyond Boutique prior to travelling I was determined to visit it. Not that it's easy to find, it's at 145 Jalan Tus HS Lee in the Lee Rubber Building. If you can find the Popular Bookshop on the corner it's right next door. There is no street signage. The security guard in the building will... More

Since I'm somewhat of a self approved interior decorator myself. I was overjoyed when I found Peter Hoe on the Internet. From the time I entered this store, there was something beautiful to look at in every corner of my eye. The warehouse style look of the store added to its uniqueness and quirkiness. The lighting surely brings out all... More

A beautiful homewares oasis in the middle on the bustle of China Town. I purchased a few items and had to restrain myself from buying more! I adored the different fabrics and colours. If you love cushions then this is the place for! People may tell you that you can get cheaper elsewhere, but the thing is - it's Peter... More

The search for this fantastic space of Asian influence homewares, including quilts, curtains and cushions, jewellery, trays, lampshades, souvenirs and a million other things was worth it. There is a small café inside the store. No pressure from sales staff. Prices are reasonable. The key to finding this is to find the Lee Rubber Building (170 Jalan Tun H. S.... More

My husband and I spent a fascinating hour in this treasure trove, where we bought lovely dish cloths, bags and presents for friends. We came to this shop by word of mouth, and in fact our hotel, the Majestic, had not heard of it. Peter Hoe I presume was a designer of fabrics. Had I the time I would have... More

Located in Petaling Street at the Lee Rubber Building where the Kasturi Tuition Centre is, this shop is quite difficult to find. The Kuan Ti Temple is just across from this building with the Sri Mahamariamman Temple just down the road. The store has an excellent display of homeware and souvenirs. Colourful place mats, batik items, rattan baskets and cushions... More

Excellent stock of originally designed and crafted for Peter Hoe Malaysian items. Batik (from India) placemats, tablecloths, runners, napkins, and bags of all sizes. Always a pleasure to wander around in the well designed exhibits of merchandise. Cafe a quiet place to relax after or before shopping. It is a bit difficult to find as there is no signage to... Having lived 26 years in Malaysia it baffles me why I've never known this shop existed until my visitor friends too me! As a Malaysian I am so proud of the product range available. Bit like the Cath Kidson of Kuala Lumpur mixed with Zara Home. Really lovely items for the home and uniquely Malaysian. I would recommend a visit... More

It may be a little difficult to find (it is on the 2nd floor of the Lee Rubber Building) but boy oh boy is it worth it when you do.The store itself is full of the most beautiful and desirable things you could wish for and the added bonus is that you can sit and have a coffee and cake... More

This shop is a bit hard to find. It is located on the second floor in the Lee Rubber Building, but there are no signs. It is cross the street of a Chinese temple and it is between a beautiful Hindu temple and a book store on the corner. Peter Hoe shop is like an Aladin's cave of colourfull fabrics... More
