Oh wow, I was taken to Peter Hoe for the first time today, and have a feeling it will be one of many! Yr eyes never rest, accept to decide whether you want it or not! Beautiful home decor, Christmas decorations, cushions, jewellery, lamps, etc etc!! Everything you look at has that 'take me home' look! Just as well I... More

I love this place. It's an Aladdins Cave. Filled with beautiful homewares, jewellry and always something different. The colours and fabrics are so vibrant. Big warehouse shop in an old historic building. Look for Popular bookshop and you will find it. Great place for finding an unusual gift. The cafe inside has delicious salads and food although can be hard... More

If we were not with locals we would not have found this place. There is a big store close by but this one has a restaurant in the back. The food is fresh and local ingredients are used. We walked away feeling we had a nice healthy lunch. The store is a little pricey but the products are of high... More

Yes it is difficult to find. It's located on the second floor of a non descript building above a book shop called POPULAR...just a stones throw from Petaling Rd. If you happen to take the hop on hop off bus, as you pass Petaling Rd look on your right for a little green building. This is his other store and... More

Nothing wrong with that, except, this is clearly an expat place to shop for trinkets. If you really want to find fine home decor, since you are in Malaysia, please do yourself a favor and buy local, made in Malaysia!!! I won't elaborate on it's location, perhaps whoever reads this won't waste the time to go.

Peter Hoe is a fashionable shop near Central Market and China Town. The main store is a little hard to find (up on the second floor of a nondescript office building), but it has wares and a modern design sense that will appeal to Western and Asian tastes alike. (The streetfront store is about two blocks away but has less... More

The first thing I noticed entering the store was the riot of colour. Cushions, serviettes, table runners, oven mitts, bags and other home furnishings were arranged in such a way that I wanted one of each! Because we were travelling, I needed things that would fold flat in a suitcase. The bread baskets were great for that and the star... More

The design and quality of the home furnishings and jewellery sold at Peter Hoe's can rival those in London or Paris, for a fraction of the price. Simple every day items such as table mats, lamps and cloth bags are original in their composition of Asian materials and elements and are affordable. The cafe serves excellent fare and the overall... Peter Hoe has beautiful things, but it's not local. You can't really buy his stuff as a souvenir because it's just nog Malaysian. Most of his textiles are Indian, but 10X the Indian prices. If you're looking for nice decoration things for you're house, you'll definitely find something. But it's nog Malaysian.

A lovely haven of trinkets, homewards and fashion. It was lovely having a browse and then relaxing for a delicious fresh lunch and yummy cake. There is a small section with clothes and leather handbags which are gorgeous. Definitely worth a look. Not too far from the Central Markets.
