We used the bus to travel the city but found it would have been better & much cheaper to plan what we wanted to do & used the very good public transport system.

This a great thing to do for your first time in KL. It's 45 ringgit for a 24 hour pass - if you buy your ticket at 3pm, it's valid until 3pm the following day. However, the bus does not operate 24 hours, so you tend to only use it on one day. 48 hour passes are available. I used... More

If you don't have weeks in Kuala Lumpur, this is definitely the best way to see most of what Kuala Lumpur has to offer in the shortest of time. You get a great overall view of the city and the architecture with the freedom to get off and on as you wish. I highly recommend making use of this facility.

We only had 4 nights in KL and wanted to make the most of our time there and really get a feel of the whole of KL not just the areas around our hotel, and this definitely allowed that. I definitely recommend this for anyone and everyone. The concept is simple you hop on and there are 20 plus stops... More

Very easy and cheap way to get around and see the sites. First trip we just stayed on and enjoyed the ride taking in the surrounding area, next trip we jumped on and off at places that interested us. Great way to get around.

My friends and I booked this on a whim at Sentral Station. It was okay considering we didn't know our way around the city. However, waiting for the bus is very time consuming! Lost half a day either waiting for the bus or sitting inside it (due to traffic). Also we were supposed to still visit some sites (based on... More

The bus took us all over the main attractions. Also the ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours. You can get off and hop on again. It takes one to the museums, the bird park, Petronas, sky tower, also China town and Little India. So a mix of shopping and sight seeing. Great way to see KL. The tour... More

At the bus stop, the ticket seller was very informative and helpful. The bus ride was great, taking in all there is to see in KL. Takes about 2 hours so make time.

This is the fee charging HOHO bus, not to be confused with the free GoKL service which caters to tourists and locals alike. We used the HOHO bus to see and visit most of KL's many attractions. Starting early in the day we were able to visit all the places we wanted to see and made it in time for... More

As a world traveller, whenever I travel to a new city, I try to use the Hop-on, Hop-off bus to get an insight of the city. And also to narrow down on which portions of the city to spent on, especially if you are traveling solo, and on a limited time schedule.
