As we were for the first time in KL., we decided to take the hop-on, hop-off bus tour. A ticket is valid 24 hours and the tour is rally worth taking. You get to all the nice places, from Petronas towers to Little India and Chinatown and the palace. Price is very reasonable, good explanations in perfect English on the... More

My wife and I took a hop on/off bus tour in KL on sept 24. WE boarded at stop 23 outside KLCC and then departed first at stop 2. the commentary during this time was ok. From stop 2 to stop 7, the bus used had only earphones of very poor quality The commentary from stop 7 to stop 23... More

The Hop On Hop Off concept is good.......but the whole circuit takes 3 - 3.5hrs depending on traffic. We thought we might do circuit then decide what attractions we might like to do. We had a compulsory stop at the Royal Palace which was nice for photo viewing, then continued on our journey. Got off at the bird park which... More

The air conditioned bus was a must with the outside temperature reaching 30+. Comfortable way to travel and see what there is to be seen for later visits. Knowledgeable tour guide on board.

We have 2 young kids and we enjoy doing the double decker bus rides when we first arrive somewhere as it gives us the opportunity to get a feel for the city - where things are, a little bit of history and easy transport to the main attractions. There was no audio, occasionally the driver would mention something but it... More

Although this is a great concept and I have thoroughly enjoyed it in other cities around the world, the Kuala Lumpur open top bus tour was poor by comparison. We waited for the open top bus but then half way around the tour, we were all made to get off, onto an enclosed coach as the open top bus was... More

They advertise about audio guiding in several languages and modern buses with outside seating areas on the top level. The truth is that most of the buses are old and worn, and not providing what is promised. On all the buses we went, the only audio guiding was in English. Also, not through headphones, but poor speakers in the ceiling... More

Whilst the concept is great, we felt as if most of our day was taken up waiting for buses that took between 3/4 to 1 hour to arrive. Yes the traffic in Kl is horrendous but they offer buses every 15-30 minutes and claim to have 7 buses on the continuous circuit of 2.5 hours. Do the maths, it should... More

The hop on hop off is a great way to see the sights of KL and get around however the traffic does make it a problem. Would recommend not taking it beginning of the day or late afternoon as the traffic can get busy and this means it can take a long time to get around. I've been on a... More
