What a great experience, we went on market day, Sue and all the staff were so informative and patient. Was fantastic going to the market and meeting the locals we even learnt a few Malay words. Would suggest taking Ana up on the transport to and from the school. The lesson itself was great, the recipe books to take home... More

Had a really enjoyable day with Saddiyah and Ana at Lazat. The course was very informative and friendly I learnt a lot and am now using the recipes back home. Saddiyah was super friendly and even took me to the supermarket afterwards to buy ingredients for the dishes to take home. Would recommend paying extra for the transport to bring... More

Myself and a friend did the vegetarian Malaysian class as it was the only day we could go. The class was brilliant and our 2 chefs were fun and helpful (not even laughing when I did silly things). We were taught 4 vegetarian dishes but given tips on how to add meat. We got to take away recipe books and... More

Friendly, helpful staff with excellent english skills guide you through a world of Malaysian cuisine. The day begins with a full tour through the markets meeting producers and sampling produce. You then move back to the clean well equipped kitchens to begin cooking your entrees, two mains and dessert. Washing up and pre-preparation is all done for you allowing you... More

10/10, Awesome, A+, 100% Ana, Sue and the others so helpful and great to talk to. The food was brilliant. Well organised, thorough and informative. Ana was even emailing me about which bits of KL to see 2 days before our class. She also accommodated a meat dish for me into the veggie day (since our flight was cancelled and... More

Ms. Ana remembered me from visiting her class a year ago. She graciously opened up her cooking class in the evening for me and my friends to take part in. We were able to tailor the menu to our liking and we all had a wonderful time learning some Malaysian main dishes. Ms. Sue, the Chef is so caring, funny,... More

Three girlfriends and I spent the morning at Lazat, shopping at the market and then cooking what we had bought. The instructors were absolutely delightful and we met with the owner who gave us lots of shopping tips for Malaysia. The food we cooked was amazing, crab sang choi bao, prawn and chicken wontons and noodles with prawns and vegetables.... More

I just wanted to say how great this cookery course is. The star of the show, Saadiah, was such a pleasure to spend time with. I was very lucky as I was her only student today so I got a real tutorial in Malay cooking. She is such a warm and friendly lady and her food is incredible! After we... More
