Did some last minute shopping and getting cheap Ipads. Great for Anime too. Nice and safe at all times. More populous than London but still safer.

Too many shops (sports, toys, clothing, etc), too many souvenirs (crackers, cakes, sweets, key chains, magnets, utensils, etc), too many restaurants (ramen, crab, bbq meat, squid balls, kobe beef, etc)...

I loved walking around this area and I am a male and not a shopper. The people, the shops, the restaurants - it is a real busy and exciting experience. Steal your self and go - it's a must do!

Don't miss Namba the vibrant centre of Osaka by day and especially by Night. Social hub, shoppers paradise, entertainment and great dining options. Use the station pedestrian subway and its only about a 200 metre walk and you arrive at the centre where the bridge over the canal is the meeting place for locals and visitors. By night the area... Namba is definitely the place to go to if you're planning to eat, EAT! So many shops, neon lights, restaurants, and interesting things to see. There were sales everywhere, and the whole place was quite crowded for a weekday. Wished we had a longer time to explore the area.

This is one of the most vibrant shopping districts in Osaka and the pics don't do the place justice - you have to be there to soak up the vibes of thronging shoppers and tourists, as well as the neon-lit, 3D visuals of the area. Shoppers will be satisfied with the wide variety of Japanese and international brands and items... More

I don't live in a hughe city. So a bit overwhelmed at how much there was to see (shopping). Walking the best way to see anything. Japanese very friendly. Trains are very good to get you places too.
