Namba is a popular shopping area in Osaka. The place comes to life after dark, with thousands of neon lights and every kind of shop and eatery imaginable. Despite being a rather safe area, there are quite a few homeless people sleeping there, so I would not recommend it for women travelling alone after 10:00PM.

It was amazing, and recommended for everyone who enjoys a night out on the town. I think you can find any type of bar/pub/club... More

Talk about shop till you drop? Just walk along the covered street called Ebisubashi-Suji. And goggle! Shops, more shops, and people, people, people--never ending. A completely unimagined breakaway from any concept we in the West might have of a mall. Very exciting and mind-blowing. Do yourself a favour. Want to shop? Go to Ebisubashi-Suji street and then eat a meal... More

It is the busiest place in Osaka. Shops of all kind, food and entertainment options. If you are not the shopping fan, go there just to watch the croud.
