A great shopping district. Lost of local food restaurants. Many great sites and photo opportunities. If you go during a sale, be prepared for huge crowds and lots of staff yelling "70% off!"

Noisy lively full of lights restaurants and people. Typical downtown in a big city but also so Japanese. Don't miss the octapus cakes. Try to be hungry when you go there, have a quick bite with a beer, walk around and then head to Dotonori for a good meal

I have visited here with my girl friend. I saw street of shops selling kitchen goods, owarai theatre, takoyaki shop. Shop selling animation goods was also available. It must be good place to understand Japanese Otaku culture!

There are a ton of food along the streets, the signs of the street are really amazing too! You have to visit this place for dinner if you are visiting Osaka.

So much to see, neon everywhere, giant crab, octopus, the crowd. Food are all delicious! We hangout in this area for almost everyday for 2 weeks. I have never experience any bad restaurants or bar. Japanese customer service is one of the BEST in the world.

This area is a but like a lot of shopping arcades around the world. Plenty of cheap eats and also places to shop without over spending. Interesting was the area where they have all kitchen and cooking items not only for home use but also for professional use.

This was quite a bit different from the Japan we had got used to. It was NOT presteenly clean, it had a few items of litter and people were not totally obedient. A variety of bizarre clothes were on display and there were quite a few very flashy cars on the road, sporting personalized number plates. Obviously the locale to... More

Come here for the bright neon lights, non stop eating, shopping and people watching. The place is lovely and clean.
