Highly recommend you get the express pass in addition to ticket entry. You need to get this before you arrive because the express pass sells out quickly. Without it expect 2 to 3+ hour wait for each ride. We emailed our hotel weeks before arrival so they could order for us from Lawson convenience store. The ticket shows your entry... More

I was a bit hesitant about visiting initially since it's quite expensive and I thoght the theme park was mostly for kids. I purchased the express pass online about 2 weeks before I visit on the Japanese version of the Universal site - I don't know why online purchase was not available in the English version of the site! I... More

Had a great time for the attractions that we actually made it to. Had no idea that all of the rides that we wanted to do had a "time" ticket that you ALSO had to get a good 5 minute walk away from the entrance of the rides (Jurassic Park and Harry Potter). I HIGHLY recommend the Resident Evil (Biohazard)... More

Went to universal studios japan today. Was an unforgettable experience. The staff were excellent but now the bad news....here is the truth. Firstly if you don't have the forsight to book and pay for the extra que jumping ticket Do not go. The price 7200 plus about 5000 makes it a bit steep but at least you won't have to... More

Tip number 1 - buy your ticket before you leave for Japan (or before they day you leave for Universal Studios) Tip Number 2 - if you plan on taking the train from Osaka station (probably the best way) you will experience a whole new level of evading personal space and it will more or less feel like you are... This place makes for a very enjoyable day. To get on rides faster, choose the single-rider lane and you will be on in a flash. Harry Potter world was the highlight for me but the kids preferred the ride in the Jurassic Park area. Having a butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks was positively exhilarating!! We were unable to purchase express... More

I had so much fun! I felt like I was 10 years old again! You would see people wearing costumes and it is so cute. I wish I could have more than a day in USJ.

I went with a bunch of friends during Halloween last year and the park was amazingly fun! Everyone was dressed up to the nines and in character! There were zombies at night, it was just the right kind of spooky. I have a few tips I'd like to share that isn't mentioned much here. We went on a Saturday so... More

We have been travelling in Japan for 4 weeks. We have saw many different things. But one of the best things was our visit to Universal Studios in Osaka. Buying the ticket took some time. It was'nt that efficient. But once in the parc. As the world of Harry Potter was very popular, we had to get a time ticket.... More

One entry fee gets you on all the rides! Just be prepared for the line ups! The street performers are fun and photos with the cartoon characters are mandatory. Not sure who hadvmore fun me or mm y 6yr old!
