We went to Universal studio at Japanese New Year so there were lots and lots visitors. The advise to visit there is to avoid holiday so that you can enjoy the facilities. However, this place is nice, and we like "the Wizard World of Harry Porter".

Fun for the whole family, but long lines for the attractions so make sure you plan your day and pick the ones you really want to see/go on. Harry Potter world was a,axing great looking around hogs mead trying butterbeer and looking in the shops.

Hi, Spent time with my family and wanted to go to see also Harry Potter. First it took almost one hour to get the ticket. After getting in somewhere around 11 am. (park is open 10 am to 6 pm) there was people all ready in a lot. Well this is Japan but come on. You need to pick time... More

Unlike Disney, who has worked to identify creative ways to improve crowd management (eg fast pass), Universal Studios Japan does a TERRIBLE job here. I spent most of the day just annoyed. First waiting in line just to get a TICKET to go IN the Harry Potter area. Then the lines for the attractions in there reached 3.5 hour wait!!... More

Went there Monday to avoid queues (wrong!). Express passes are sold out 2hrs before opening. The queue for the major rides averages at 1.5hrs, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey has the longest at 3hrs!! We only managed to enter Backdraft, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man - The Ride 4K3D, Terminator 2, Jurassic Park-The Ride. All shows are in Japanese.... More

This is the 2nd universal studio I ever visit. Due to Osaka weather, queuing for entrance are not as hot as Singapore. The park also bigger, if budget enough, this is better universal studio to visit. Harry Porter just open July 2014, the queue for it are 240 mins for morning, 150 mins during the evening. People are discipline so... More

Truthfully, I only went to USJ for the Harry Potter theme park and I must say, that was a LOT of waiting! It's definitely a gamble, if you're unlucky (like me) you had to wait 3 hours just to get into the Harry Potter theme park, so I had to wait outside and go around and see other rides that... More

Went there in the winter and we expected there to be little queues because it was winter and cold, but there was a crowd but at least it didnt seem that crazy, as we went on a weekday. Rides were amazing, harry potter land was the best, advise to give the butterbeer a miss bit too sweet. Food a little... More
