I wasn't too sure about visiting here but I was pleasantly surprised. There's a huge variety of animals to see, and some interesting ones I wasn't expecting. The main tank is huge and has multiple viewing spots meaning you don't miss out. We even got to touch a ray in the touch tank which was great! It was busy, this... More

The aquariums are nice, but the Mammal cages are mostly very small. But the large aquarium with the whale shark is very impressing. I personally loved the jellyfish, sardines, giant crabs and mud skippers.

Great and I purposely here for whale watching and mambo(ocean sunfish) ! Huge Hammerhead and ray but mambo looks lonely ! Fee is ¥2300. Good for family and kids. Even I'm adult but I enjoy collected all the stamps.

The aquarium appears to be small on first glance from the outside. However, the entire space is used, and it is used very well. When you enter you go past the gift shop and up a long escalator. From that point on, you are walking around inside of the aquarium, surrounded by the tanks on all sides. You start at... More

Immediately upon entering the building it's all too clear that most of the tanks are far too small for many of the sea animals and mammals kept there. There was a Ring-tailed coatis on it's own for example in a too small tank displaying obvious distress signs such as pacing, typical from animals kept in captivity - and this was... More

A huge aquarium with many kinds of marine animals, such as otters, penguins and dolphins, as well all the fish you would expect. The highlight is the massive central tank, home to many rays and big fish, and a whale shark. Beware sometimes of long queues and crowds inside. Relatively quiet this time around, with a short queue for tickets,... More

this is one of the biggest aquarium in the world, at least according to the lonely planet. the cost is 2000 yen per person and it's really worth a visit above all to admire all the different types of sharks

I have been to several aquarium and find the marine species here to be excellent. they have penguin, sea lions and even otters. Perhaps due to aging factor, this aquarium need to be refurbished and re-design to be more contemporary with other world's popular aquariums.

It is worth the journey to this edge of the city. There are jellyfish and rays and lots of tropical fish and a peguin enclosure. Can get very crowded with families on weekend

Been there almost a year ago, on the New Year's Eve. Crowded as it was supposed to be, but not that bad tho. The attractions and aquarium were very interesting, eg. the dolphins, crabs, seals. I was there with my friends, still good place to see but it would be the best if you travelled with your family, especially with... More
