This park as the name implies is best visited during spring especially when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Breathtaking & lovely while relaxing near the riverbanks.

This park is so beautiful with cherry blossom trees everywhere! If you want to enjoy Sakura like the Japanese people do, take a picnic mat, some food and beers. Find a nice place under the sakura trees by the water and sit down and enjoy your food and beers while soaking the view! It is an amazing experience! Specially when... More

On a sunny day, we went here and enjoyed seeing both locals and visitors with smiles on their faces enjoying the awesome sight of the cherry blossoms in full bloom. We went to Kema Sakuranomiya Park on our way to Osaka Castle and it was a pleasant stop. Spent one afternoon there at sakura seasons on early April, simply sit and walk around, enjoy the beautiful sakura trees along the rivers, walking hand in hand with your partners...simply beautiful How to get there : Take JR Osaka Looplone and exit @Sakuranomiya, and walk south from the station
