We went at the end of March and the sakura trees were just beginning to bloom. Very beautiful, worth a visit in the right season. It's within walking distance from Osaka Castle.

And Yodogawa Osaka, in order to traffic the Okawa, so to speak gate. And Yodogawa, in order to navigate Okawa, it should not and does not take into account the difference in height of the river. If you go from Yodo side locks to Okawa, boats from adjusting the height difference by closing the locks both to enter into We... More

This Park is great for nature lovers and romantics and even the young at heart. I rated it excellent because of the following: Easy to reach. Get the JR transit and find Osaka loopline. The ticket machine has english instructions. We were near Bentencho station so we got ours there(tickets). It is free or no entrance fee.Locals come here most... More

Went here on two different occasions, once just before sunset and another during my bicycle tour. The flowers here are so pretty! You can also see the occasional water boat tours along the rivers. It's quite fun to watch people doing hanami (literally means watching flowers) chatting and barbecuing around the park. It's an awesome place just to hang around... More

This park is a amazing place to view cheery blossoms, right after we stepped out of the train station we could already see a row of sakura trees in front of the station. It's my first time seeing Sakuras in real life and it's a beautiful sight to hold. I came at a weekday in the morning and there isn't... More

Ample grounds for hanami parties. Beside the river so also great for photography. Only 2 mins walk from subway station on the Osaka Loop Line.

We visited this riverside park in Osaka with hundreds of cherry trees blooming and lining the river. Most are light pink or white; for other colors go into the Baron Fujita's private grounds (recommended). It was a weekday morning, fairly early in the season so there were no crowds. It would be different on the weekend or even later in... More
