A Nice Side Attraction to the Aquarium

This is right next to the aquarium, and has a nice selection of eating places. Very often, one can run into a sale or two here, and I have bought trinkets here really cheap.

There is a mall with old style restaurants and a number of interesting shops. Right beside the mall is the giant ferris wheel which gives you sweeping views of the bay and the area around it. This is just across the fantastic aquarium and should be a good activity for families with young kids.

The place is quite beautiful next to the Kaiyukan. There is a food arcade, but don't expect too much as the food are actually street food. We tried the buffet restaurant instead. It wasn't good but I guess that was the best restaurant there and expensive too. If you want to enjoy food, I do not recommend there. Town and... More

We came here for lunch and walked around the shops after our visit to the aquarium. Nothing fantastic as I think most people came here for food rather than shopping. Not crowded at all.

We took the cruise from Universal City to Harbor Village at 6.30pm and that was the last trip in that direction. The lights from the ferries wheel was beautiful. Surprisingly the ride wasn't cold at all even though we sat on the upper deck. The village has a food court and a food alley. We venture into the food alley... More

This area is located near the sea, so you can enjoy scenic view and do try the Santa Maria pirate ship to go around enjoy the sea breeze. I simply enjoy coming here although there is Kaiyukan aquarium but is not like other countries where it will be super packed with tourists.

The Tempozan Harbor Village is lucky to be located next to the Aquarium. Not sure it would get a many visitors if they weren't in the area for the Aquarium. The Tempozan Wheel allows for a great view of the harbor area and Osaka. There is an audio that plays during the ride. There are also pictures of landmarks on... More

Somewhere near the Southwest of the city, lie several small islands, one of them containing the Tempozan Harbour Village, or as some call it the Tempozan Bay Area. Here you can find several attractions together, the Kaiyukan (Osaka Aquarium), the Tempozan Ferris Wheel, the Santa Maria cruise ship and the Tempozan Market Place. I lumped them all together because this... More

Easily spend a day walking the sights centred here. Kaiyukan, Osaka Aquarium is next door. The Ferries Wheel is just at the other side. There's Legoland inside the Mall. Have a meal at the food court at ground level. Besides the many restaurants inside, pick out interesting eats at the popular Naniwa Food Alley featuring traditional dishes of Osaka. For... More
