Went to this but didnt take the ride as the weather was bad so nothing much to see? This is just next to the aquarium so one will not miss too. It is quite costly per ride at S$50 but good if weather is good for stunning views.

Get a good look at the city with this Ferris wheel. It is just located beside the kaiyukan (osaka aquarium) so it's very convenient and enjoyable to end your kaiyukan trip here A tip: you can purchase a package ticket directly from the kansai airport station (nankai line) counter. Just tell the officer that you want to go to kaiyukan... More

We've never been on one of these before. so we decided to buy the combo ticket (aquarium + ferris wheel) to try it out. The weather was nice - not rainy, not sunny, and not too cloudy. We were here on a Monday, so there were only a few people ahead of us in line. I was a bit nervous... More

Admission is about $8 USD per person, which I think is expensive for a ferris wheel. But since it's supposed to be one of the world's tallest, we decided to give it a whirl. The actual wheel moves rather slow, but you will get to see some awesome views of the city.

the price is around 800 yen. you can choose between normal wheel or transparent wheel. duh obviously we would choose the transparent one. however since there are only 4 transparent wheels, we need to wait our turn for 30 minutes. but it was worth it. the sceneric of osaka bay was truly mesmerizing. it is also near the mall and... Went to the Osaka Aquarium KAIYUKAN and bought the combo ticket (Aquarium+Ferris Wheel). Not the best Ferris Wheel I've been on but it's a great add on to the Aquarium after the long walks and since you're there you might as well do it. If you have time wait (about 20-30 minutes) for clear units as it gives you more... More

Great fun and all. However, the transparent cabin floor is not exactly clear to see through. It's not dirty, but maybe due to the material eaily get blurred or the glass floor simply showing its age.

We opted for the transparent cabin and it was worth the 20 min wait (there are only four of them). My wife was a bit worried but it was not scary at all. The view is excellent so you don't even worry about the height. The great thing was that they did not force the cabins to be full so... More

....probably you will admire it from Umeda area during the day or at night, without aiming at having a ride...although once at home, you might regret it, as myself, so I would suggest not to avoid it. However, at night time is most impressive

As a connoisseur of ferris wheels, this was a decent ride. Not so high that you feel the wind rocking the wheel, but high enough that you get a great view. The windows are well maintained and have a small diagram of the buildings and features around with labels. It was raining when we rode and that was great. The... More
