I was there with my family in July 2014. I took the subway and got off at Tenmabashi station. It required about 10-15 minutes from the subway to the Japan Mint in a hot summer day. There is a convenience store and vendor machines on the way to the Japan Mint so you can buy some cold drink on the... More

If you are lucky enough to have some time to spend exploring this beautiful, unique nation do make a trip here. This is quite exceptional. My wife thinks it is her favorite place in Japan.

this is the best Sakura viewing spot i've been to in my lastest Japan Sakura trip. they have all kinds of Sakura, most of them are unlikely to see in most of the parks, and they were so pretty. There were even Sakura with green color. But it's best not to go on weekend as it get so crowded that... More

This was an amazing place duriong Cherry Blossom Season, it was about 500 or so metres long which is opened to the public during the season and contains just 1 continuous row of every type of Cherry Blossom you can imagine. It's packed with at least half of Osaka and will take you about 2 hours to make you way... More

If you missed the peak period for the most commonly found Somei Yoshino cherry trees, then Japan Mint is the place to catch the later blooming cherry trees varieties. Do check their official webpage for the yearly one-week special opening period for the Cherry Blossom Viewing event. There are many subway/train stations scattered around Japan Mint, but there is only... More

Never too late, if you miss the best time to visit (say, one week later), you can still visit Japan Mint more information at http://www.mint.go.jp/enjoy/toorinuke/sakura-map.html Free entrance, easy access by the subway and food stalls at the entrance. I like it.

A visit to the Japan Mint to see the amazing and abundant cherry blossom is a must. The gardens open for one week only around a week after the normal cherry blossom around Osaka has bloomed. We visited on the night of the opening and again the following day to see the amazing blooms in both day and night. Would... More

Osaka Japan Mint Cherry Blossoms garden is open to the public only about 1 week in a year. This is during the time that the flowers are in full bloom. We were fortunate to be there at the right time. It was the most cherry blossom flowers I ever saw. Hundreds of people but they move orderly (South to North... More

The minute we left our luggages at hotel in Shin Osaka on early morning of 17th april, we rushed to Japan Mints as learnt was last open day for public viewing cherry blossoms. Never have seen a wide range of cherry blossoms species with more than 650 trees there. Together with the locals n tourists, we went crazy studying the... More
