Beautiful City, nice to walk, relatively expensive

Even if everything seems to be cheap in Japan in comparison to 2015 Argentina's prizes, this distinguished neighboorhood is a little bit expensive than its surroundings... yet... read more

In Japan, most of the observatory deck on top of skyscrapers are indoor only (means glass wall exist), but this one has an open top available for visitors (maybe closed due to bad weather), so you can take great photos and won't be blocked by glass. Highly recommended if you love taking sunset/night scene, during new year they even have... More

I had a very good feeling when walking on the roof, listening music and enjoying views on Osaka. I have heard, that weddings take place there. It must be magical...

We were here during the beer festival. We had some beers prior to climbing Umeda Building. It is interesting to watch Japanese singing and dancing German songs. :) Longest escalator ride. Avoid bringing hats, it is windy. Enjoy the view! For lovers, you can leave your love locks.

Travel to Osaka is easy from any place in Japan. If you use the Shinkansen from Tokyo station it will take 3hours and 45 minutes including shorts stops in Nagoya and Kyoto as well as other stations enroute and arrive at Shin Osaka station. From this station you can take the subway to anywhere in Osaka and the ride to... More

The famous landmark of this city is the twin buildings hosting the Floating Garden, which is a popular venue for enjoying sunset and night Osaka city views. At the basement level, the layout and atmosphere give visitors an entirely different kind of feel. Restaurants here are well-known for their local delicacies. Thumbs up to staff at the Information Center who... More

Go at sunset, it tends to be quiet and the view is incredible. Less spectacular in the daytime. Restaurants are very expensive, i wouldn't want to eat here (looks very nice & classy though)

The "Twin Towers" of Shin-Umeda City are a landmark in northern Osaka. Cutting edge architecture and a viewing platform on the top floor. The B1 floor of the annex Garden City houses a number of restaurants that evoke the atmosphere of 19th century Japan. Tasty, affordable lunch sets are served during the week (sushi, kushikatsu, noodles etc.) A pond and... More

Went here just to try having lunch in the basement with restaurants decorated like an old retro street. Took a taxi here
