We only had a short time in Kyoto so we booked a half-day cultural tour with our lovely guide (and fellow Aussie), Jade, and turns out our group of 4 were the only ones booked in that afternoon so we got a fantastic private tour! It was beautiful walking through Kyoto and visiting the shrines, temples, and zen gardens. The... More

I booked the bike tour of Kyoto while visiting during the latter part of October. It was the highlight of my visit to Japan! Tomoko is the best guide. We saw parts of the city that you would have missed on a bus tour. Touring on a bicycle lets you enjoy the people, sights and the great outdoors. I have... More

We had 2-days in Kyoto, our guide's name was Jade. With out this tour we would have wasted valuable time. Her knowledge and ease at which she presented the vast amount of information of this beautiful place was appreciated by my friend and myself.

We did the Kyoto Urban walking tour with our guide, Tomo. It was good value for money as we would not have seen all the sites without the expertise of Tomo.We also gained from her experience by learning of the history /stories about the Temples and Shrines we visited. We also saw a Gheshia in the Gheshia area due to... More

Nice, friendly guide with plenty of local knowledge/insight to share. An enjoyable half-day look around the sights of Kyoto by bike - highly recommended (especially at the start of your stay, for an orientation of the city). Thanks Elsa..! :o)

I traveled to Kyoto from Tokyo with my brother. Elsa was an amazing tour guide. Meeting place was very easy to find. We took a quick subway ride in the beginning and walked the rest of the time. Elsa showed us zen gardens, temples, and shrines. We even saw a geisha after waiting a little bit. It was a rare... More

It was great to tour kyoto with Elsa in the first 24 hours I was in japan for the first time. The place seems clean and in order everywhere, yet there is a great harmony, simplicity, and overall very calm. I enjoyed the shrine and Buddhist temples visited. Accompanied with a tea ceremony, dance, in the Gion district. Elsa was... More
