Spent a delightful morning in the Herb Garden via the Ropeway. The views were magnificent and the gardens are a lovely walk even in February when it's not very green. Loved the glasshouse and the plants! They have crafts and workshops if you're interested and a nice tea house to enjoy the views. There's even a foot bath outside.

Is one of the favorite tourist attraction in the area of Kobe, located not far from the shin-kobe station, approximately a 10-minute walk away. To ride the cable car, it will cost about 1,120 yen for a return trip, traveling by train alone, from the bottom station to station on need take about 10-15 minutes. At the top there is... More

The ropeway trip up the mountain was spectacular and hard to stop taking photographs. You can walk both or either way up the mountain or use the ropeway which is actually a cable car. You walk partway down the mountain through different gardens and exhibits before catching the ropeway. Really restful and colourful. Would highly recommend.

This is the first time I went there, but it is quite nice to go see the garden and walk down the hill. The ropeway ride is nice. It seems spectacular in autumn.

Kobe is such a beautiful city to visit. We travelled here on the spur of the moment, catching the bullet train (shinkansen) from Kyoto. We travelled up the ropeway which has amazing views of the harbour and city below. After arriving at the top we were very surprised to find a German outdoor cafe selling wurst, German beer and pretzels.... More

Pick a clear day and you will see some stunning views of Kobe. You catch the rope car (seats 4) which leave quite frequently from an area sort of behind the crowne plaza. You should buy a return ticket unless your feeling healthy and have enough time for the 80 minute walk down. Stunning gardens and definitely worth taking your... More

Good gondola rope way ride, lovely gardens, reasonable price, nice view to harbour, recommend this, the entrance is just near ANA hotel behind the Shin-Kobe Shinkansen station
