I am glad I was able to visit this place during my Kobe trip. There are very interesting animals in this place such as polar bears, pandas, koalas etc. I must admit this was my first zoo experience but it was a great one and I will never forget this place.

I visited this place on a weekday as a friend's idea, and it was a bit disappointing. The zoo has been here for a while, and it sort of shows, but it wasn't depressing, mistreated animals for the most part, though their polar bear was on the skinny side. A surprising number of animals are outdoors, from the birds to... More

I think this place is verty small for a zoo. But the ticket is cheaper than average. The nocturnal spot is very awesome. You should bring your own lunch. There is no restaurant i think

We spent few hours in that zoo while its a big zoo and there is panda living in it. We didnt check everything there because its started to rain and we didnt have umbrellas with us. I enjoyed walking around, watching school children having picnics and eating matcha ice-cream from vending machine. Panda didnt want to show me his face... More

The animals in the zoo looks healthy, it is a fun place to spend some time, plenty of kids, its OK size for a city zoo, generally the park is well maintained, great for kids, and couples who likes to take a walk in a park. i would recommend my friends to visit

such a pleasant zoo. lots of beautiful animals in clean enclosures. cleanliness of the zoo is awesome and commendable. staff are helpful & friendly too. can get a bit crowded during holidays and weekends but still a pleasant experience nonetheless. lots of great spots under big trees for a little picnic or snack break. They have a nicely sized amusement... More

It is quite good value for the money but I would prefer to spend more and see animals in large fields. Please update this park as it is closeby to me but the animals are suffering

I came to Kobe Oji Zoo at 3.00 pm, and they close at 4.00 pm. The zoo is quite, many animals look like tired and not fun. When we're going to Big Bear spot, the bear sleeps so well. But I'm a little interesting, because I can saw penguin, bear, koala panda, and other animals that I can't see in... More

I was expecting more of this zoo in Kobe. The lions didn't seem to be well treated there and the pandas were a bit angry, the animals looked like irritated to be there. I felt sorry for them being there
