Again this is a piece of history that is worth seeing and a reminder of the danger of war and weapons of this kind.

Very fitting to have left this building as a memorial amongst the modern buildings. The setting by the river and peace park makes for a nice walk after a visit to the museum

It must be said that this dome is so classic and attractive It 's so amazing why Hiroshima city was destroyed during world war but the dome was not totally destroyed and remains left for tourists today. The river along the dome makes dome more beautiful and walkway along the river is good for relaxation late in evening

I stumbled across the dome taking a night walk just after arriving and I was struck the intense feeling you get walking around this part of town. I went back and visited during the day and looked around, well worth the time to explore. It's a beautiful park and a solemn memorial to such a catastrophic event.

If you are interested in history or not, it is pretty amazing to see a building semi intact after one of the biggest bombs ever dropped on a city exploded above the city and devastated every thing around it. It is a symbol for the resilience of the Japan people. Years later, Hiroshima is thriving again. I would also recommend... More

This site is not actually in the peace park; it is across the river and a must-see. This structure provides just a tiny perspective of the destruction caused by the bomb. Seeing this in person is very different than reading about the events or looking at pictures. It definitely stirred some mixed emotions and provided tangible evidence of the destruction... More

We should be grateful that some one somewhere had a great vision to preserve the remains of the Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall as a reminder of the horror we humans can inflict upon each other. Standing at the entrance to the Peace Park you cannot but wonder as to how it survived and you will be affected by the skeleton... More

This is one of those iconic places you just have to see. I love how the city of Hiroshima has dedicated itself to maintaining the iconic artifacts from this tragedy.

So beautiful to visit here, fills you with emotion. High historical value, remains the way it was when it happened, surrounded by alarmed fence. Beautiful parkland. Highly recommended
