Japanese LOVE their baseball and the Carp fans are rated as some of the loudest. Got a big cold towards the end of the evening so recommend taking a blanket and wearing plenty of warm clothes. Love the brass band and be sure to buy some of the balloons if you want to get involved at the 6th inning....

Arrived for game against the Yakut swallows. Was told by my hotel to go to stadium as buy tickets as there is always a few single tickets left for Sold out weekend games. Got ticket for ¥1900 yen. Went in and bought a carps hat and towel. Then find my seat was in the away section. That is why these... More

We were able to get seats for a Hiroshima Carps vs Nagoya Dragons game a couple of weeks ago. As well as the game itself, it is a lot of fun being part of the crowd who sing, chant and drum throughout the whole game. Grab yourself some food and drink and enjoy the show. It is refreshing being at... More

We happened to strike on a home game for the local baseball team the Carps and it turned out to be a really great night out for the whole family. The stadium was about a 20min walk from Hiroshima Stadium, make sure you go to the ticket sales office on the ground floor to get your tickets. Four reserved seats... More

If you are a fan of baseball, a trip to a Japan League game is a lot of fun. The crowd chanting and songs for each player is great to watch. Beer girls lugging backpacks of beer to pour you a fresh draft and the unique japanese food replacing hot dogs and peanuts was welcome too! easy to walk from... More

The tour was great. It's worth it. It's a little farther away from most other sites, but it's easy to get there from the station. There is only one English tour a day at 10am. Reservations are required, but they're easy to make on the website (we got ours months in advance, but that's probably not necessary, there were only... More

It's a fun and friendly atmosphere. Don't try driving there, park far away and walk. I recommend the draft Asahi and they carry the kegs on their backs.

Buying a ticket to see the Carp baseball team play is difficult for non-Japanese people. You can buy them at 7 eleven, just ask an employee to help you because the machine is only in Japanese. You can bring food and drinks (pour them over in a free cup), but they are also for sale in the stadium for normal... More

Went a Japanese baseball game on a lark...What an amazing time! The fans are so polite, but have chants, blow up balloons and let them go, try to get on the jumbotron. I became a fan of the carp and bought a Jersey! The play is much faster than an American game, the stadium is super clean, what a perfect... More

did it on a lark since stadium is very near the train station, which is inundated with Carp merch. Crowd is amazing, much better than typical american crowds. they bang sticks together for chants constantly, and there is a horn band that plays to set the mood. -0.5 stars for no instant replays on the video board, I missed some...
