I wa skeptical, however my wife insisted. Boy, I am glad she did. This is taking watching baseball to a whole new level. Go and try telling me you did not have a hoot.

Last night we went to the baseball and watched Hiroshima Carps take on the Yokohama bay. It was a fantastic experience and very good value For bottom tier seats to the side of the main action cost $35, for a sports event I think that's very cheap particularly as it lasted 5 hours. We had read that the Japanese love... More

We went to a baseball game at the Zoom Zoom stadium and had a blast. Got the cheap seats at 1700 yen and that was fine, up in the non-reserved nose-bleed section but that didn't matter, view was great right behind home plate. Costco is right next to the stadium and had a hot dog & coke before the game...... More

If you like baseball in America-wait until you see it in Japan! The fans here sell out to their team and the entertainment is ongoing. Each team has a band and cheers on their team while on offense. When the half inning rolls around, the fans quietly and politely sit back and allow the other team's fans to cheer on... More

It just so happened that during our visit to Hiroshima, we found out that the local professional baseball team, the Hiroshima Carp were playing a home game that night. We went that morning to the stadium and bought tickets for the game. We arrived that night and the stadium was packed (maybe 50,000 +) all in their favorite players jersey... More

Had a fantastic time watching the Carp play the Swallows. Definitely a different atmosphere than in North America right from the gate, bring your own food/drink so long as its in a plastic cup. And hey, if you don't have a cup, they'll give you one. Food was great, the seventh inning stretch festivities and nearly constant chanting/dancing were highly... More

Went to a Hiroshima Carps Baseball game whilst in the city and arranged the tickets via American Express. Getting them via other sources was either pricey and impossible direct if not based in Japan and being fluent in Japanese. Even email direct to them were ignored. I should not have worried as on the night seats were available. So with... More

This stadium is very clean and comfortable. Anywhere you sit has good sight lines. I recommend the infield non reserved seats 1,700 yen for adults and only 800 yen for children. Even in the last row you can see quite well. These sections are first come first served, so get there at least 30 mins before the start to get... More

One of the true highlights of our trip to Japan in September 2013 was going to Zoom-Zoom stadium and watching the Carps take on the Honshu Tigers. These are FANS! They love baseball and it shows....nonstop entertainment from the beer girls who carry a keg on their back with a hose connected to it for 'fill ups' to the huge... More
