Long but not wide garden in the heart of the Sapporo city, surrounding by building blocks and crossed by few streets. It was recreation and meeting place for people here. Good landscape with trees, flowers and architectural structures.

This is THE place to go when in Sapporo. The park runs through the city separating north and south. Each section is a little different. In winter, they have the Snow Festival in Feb. During summer, the locals will enjoy the warm weather and atmosphere.

The colorful flowers were out so there were many people around to enjoy the view, which made the place busy. A good view of the nearby Sapporo TV Tower from this park. Nice place to sit and take a rest from a busy day.

Abt 3 to 4 streets away from sapporo tv tower and sapporo clock house. an information counter nearby in case you need a consultation. a waterfall structure, and many other structures in the park. A street stall that sell roast corn. Beautiful flowers than farm tomita

It was an awesome festival. Lots of activities especially the beautiful and unique ice sculptures. At night the Odori park lit up with candles and stage full of permances. You can also get the street food especially the grilled seafood and hairy crabs.

About 15 minutes walking distance from JR Sapporo Station. You can just walk along the subway next to Daimaru Departmental Store and will reach the park without caring on external traffic. The subway is clean and will clear directory signs for travellers. Currently you can see beautiful flowers and blooming sakura around the park. The weather during these two weeks... More

It was a park in the middle of a city. I didn't think it was worth mentioning. It must only be worthwhile during the famed Sapporo snow festival but otherwise very average for an April visit. Skip during the non-winter months though I believe if walking around Sapporo to explore you can't really avoid passing it or near it.

I was there a week or two before the snow festival. I appreciate the effort they placed as they were working on the snow sculptures; however since it wasn't snow festival yet - there wasn't really much to see or do. We ended up just taking our time walking around and enjoying the cold night. I didn't hate the experience... More

Really nice park. I went for the snow festival and it was clean and not amazingly crowded. The sculptures were amazing. I've never seen anything like it before. It truly is amazing. I hope I can make it for the 2016 Snow festival.
