This park is in the middle of the city. Besides tourist, locals enjoy their simpe outdoor recreation here during summer. Late summer there is sapporo marathon being held here, and mid winter the snow/ice festival. There are some street performers but they mainly appear on weekends. It is worth a visit especially for the snow/ice festival, huge house sized sculptures.... More

I can't recommend the beer festival, in late July and early August highly enough. In addition to great continental European beer brands, locally made beers, unavailable elsewhere are on sale too. A lovely place to be on a nice summer evening, with the beer gardens around you, and the Eiffelesque TV tower as a backdrop.

This park is harmonize with Sapporo town. There are some lovely fountains. Some boys play Juggling around the fountain. But they are not loud. All of them agree with Sapporo's simple sight.

it is far smaller as a normal garden. It looks like in the middle of the street there is a street garden for the people going by. But I think the people spent a lot of time in the plants, looks nice. Good to have a rest if you walk by.

A great place to relax in the city. The weather was just perfect when we visited the park. There were many people around but not too crowded. Different types of flowers can be seen. A well maintained and clean park.

The events hosted in this elongated park are the main attraction. I can't imagine the park being particularly appealing when no events are taking place, as the park is narrow and constrained by roads on all sides. Much better places in and around Sapporo if you are looking for nature and tranquillity!

Nice stroll in the park with a iconic view of the TV tower while in Sapporo. When we visited on Saturday, there are a few food stalls available for local snacks. I enjoyed the corn and ice cream

Quite dark at night while I expected to have more light for a sparkling central park. Only 1 place that you can enjoy is sit opposite of Sapporo tower ~ just sit and enjoy.

Visited in the night. Was very brightly lit and lots of people there. Still has a good sense of nature to it
