Very beautiful lake , there are a lot of lotus flower on the West Lake , Park side , but i was in November , so i think the best time to visit when lotus bloom. More

Try to wander off the 'outside' of the lake path - there are lots of little parks/gardens etc to visit along the way - the causeways that go across the lake are more interesting. Getting out on the lake on a boat is a peaceful thing to do after the hustle and bustle of the city. Also usually can find a breeze there to cool off. Another day I took the electric cart 游览车 around the lake. That was fun too. One could also do this on a bike if one had more time. More
