The gardens and fish are lovely, but not as lovely as the Humble Administrator in Suzhou or the Pearl Pagoda in Tongli, in my opinion. Definitely worth wandering though the garden but for me the views across the lake and the blossoms and the pagoda were far more picturesque.

Suggest to feed fishes in the pond. There're a lot. If you like photo-taking, get your camera ready when feeding fish. You can capture the fish-eating moment like in Chinese painting.

As one of the ten classic attractions of West Lake, Huagang Guanyu is located in one side of Su causeway. It is not only as a place to appreciate the golden fishes, but also a nice place to enjoy the greens and various flowers like a large garden.

We visited Hangzhou and West Lake fish garden is fantastic. In fact all of West Lake is marvellous and Hangzhou city has much to offer the tourist.
