The stage, the lighting, the costume, the ornaments are perfect and give so much entertaiment to the audience. it's one of the colosal stage art performing. But the seats is too tight and close one to another, so it's not comfortable if you seat behind a tall or big people. Anyway, it's a recommended show, you should watch it while... More

This "living museum" engages you well. We had dinner in a restaurant there before we attended the show. The food was good, and the service attentive. The show was interesting, amusing, sometimes surprising and certainly spectacular - especially the cannons, the lake that appears and the waterfalls. A must see, particularly if you have been to the museum and have... More

A must for every visitor to Hangzhou, Marco Polo's favourite capital in SE China boasting pagodas, tea plantations and the famous West Lake (XiHu), just 160 km, or one hour by express train, south of Shanghai. SongCheng Park is a replic of a mediaval Song-Dynasty village at the banks of Qiantangjiang River some... More

It is the most popular theme park in China, aiming to reflect the classical culture in Song dynasty. The ticket of Songcheng is about 300RMB, which includes entrance fee and a show ticket. Well, I didn't really expect this at first. We all just went by a taxi from my hostel and it took about RMB 45. We paid RMB 280 for the entrance fee and it included the shows inside. It was like we were brought back to ancient time in China. We were walking down the alleys with traditional gambling house... More

Wonder how does the Song Dynasty looks like? This is a replica of the Song era. Depicting the lifestyle and culture of those era. I would strongly recommend you to visit this place a night. More scenic. Beautiful night lightings plus amazing cultural performances. P/s: visited November 2012

Mostly here for the show. The show itself was good, but the audience, which consists of mainly local tour groups, was highly irritating. People kept snapping pictures with flash lights throughout the show, standing up and forcing others to do the same to see the performance, and one guy even talked loudly on the phone during much of the show.... there's not much to see about Songcheng, except for the show, probably one of the best show in China. The artistic show has dancing, recreated fighting scene in the old day, light, laser, firework, cannon (yes, the big gun), water flood, including rain (in the whole theater :). We came for the show, the ticket is costly, but it was... More
