There is a great selection of stores in about a three block radius of this location, where you can find everything from high end to low end, starbucks, a movie theatre and some culturally significant locations. You can also access both the plant market (down a very small side street next to the cathedral) and the pet market (turn left... More

This is a great places for shopping and eating. There are so many snack shops and restaurants to choose from it can be a little overwhelming deciding where to go.

If you are in Kunming probably you should pay a visit: it is a busy street, with shops, restaurants and that kind of things. It is ok (even more than ok) but it pales compared to another cities in China (which is normal, of course! You can't compare Shanghai to Kunming)

It is not a must go place or a place not to be missed. It is an interesting road like all other roads in Kunming specially because there are plenty of food stalls, restaurants and other shops selling all sorts of articles . The Carrefour Supermarket is also along this road. This is a good place for shopping. Most of the things are... More

I worked here for about a year, so it's hard to wax lyrical. It's basically a pedestrianized wide street with shops on either side and food stalls in the middle. It tends to be overpriced, but it's very convenient for finding what you want easily. There's a huge bookstore here I go to all the time. Unless you read Chinese... More

This area has several shopping centres and a Carrefour with imported products. Nothing really special.

This shopping district has fashionable shops, department stores, restaurants as well as local handicrafts. At night street vendors selling local snacks and street food like BBQ on skewers. The commercial district is also in this area.

It was an experience to walk at this stretch of roads with so many shops and eateries. Especially Careffour is there. It is also convenient for foreigners to visit this place as there are few banks in this area. Security is also excellent as there were few police car stationed. we can walk in & out , have a meal... It is within a commercial area and lots of foot traffic. The Kunming departmental store, is a good place to shop. There is a supermarket at the basement and the clothes are fashionable and up to date. The "Brothers' Jiang", has an outlet there. It is for the famous "over the bridge noodle". just note that they close for afternoon... More

The street itself is just an average Chinese shopping street with loudspeaker equipped cheap and not so cheap clothing stores. The small alleys around this street however are really cool! You can spend hours walking around the small streets! To the north there is the flowers and animal market, the few streets with traditional houses left in the city, and... More
