Ok if you pass By

Nice site if you pass by on your way to the 1920 Railway station restaurant. But do not walk there on purpose.

Located at heart of city centre and you can enjoy a spacious restaurant nearby and local food-stall selling different fruits and snacks from few yuan above. Also, there was a hump hostel where you could stay for 25 yuan per night for dorms and local beer cost at 5 yuan. the way to get here can be reach by taking... More

Nothing spectacular to warrant purpose trip. Just a landmark. If happen to be there , then walking around browsing into some shops for souvenirs will be a pleasure trip. However , there is one shop sellinng the famous Kunmimg Cross Bridge noodle. very traditional, authentic.

I walked for almost an hour to reach the bus stop and surprisingly, I could not find the bus no. at the... More

Worth stopping by here on a visit to Kunming. Impressive arches and usually something interesting going on, especially during the evening.

Not a must-see attractions, just a landmark of Kunming city, the joys are the night markets around it. During the night, many stands with commodities and handicrafts are there. It is also a square for many locals morning exercise, if you get up early aand get there round 7 o'clock, you can see the olds are doing exercise.

Ancient city gate type arches. Good for a quick look. Easy to get to -- in the center of the city. Many bus lines come here. Just walk around for 15 or 20 minutes and snap some photos. A large variety of places to eat, as well as coffee houses. When you finish here, you can cross the street (Jinbi... More

Other than the nice architecture of the arches, there was little else to protect the site against the thousands of passers-by tramping through its midst daily.
