Owner description: Recently recommended by TIME magazine, National Geographic Traveller, Vogue and ELLE Magazine across 38 countries; you can trust us when it comes to off the beaten path adventures in comfort. Let your insider guide take you around Xian in a quaint 1950's convertible jeep. Xi'an, at the very beginning point of the Silk Road, hides marvelous relics of various cultural influences in a unique green and hilly landscape. Either to assist to Red and Big Pandas family reunions, make a stop in a beautiful winery for a wine tasting session, climb to inhabited caves or discover China's oldest Christian building, just let us know what you're interested in and we'll take you there through small villages and narrow roads. An experienced foreign guide will open the way, rides go from half day to two days. Expeditions are family-friendly

We did the Warrior Tour, with tour guide Rocky behind the steering wheel. Before the Warriors we visited the Xi'an countryside, including a blacksmith, farmer and cave dweller. We then had a lovely lunch, using the freshest ingredients, cooked by locals. Rocky even brought along a bottle of wine! The Warriors were our main reason for visiting Xi'an and they... More

It is a little late to make my review here even though I have promoted Xi'an Insiders to all of my friends in other channels. We had 3 days amazing sidecar and jeep tour experience with the Insider Julia to get away from the busy, noisy over constructed Xi'an. :) It is such a pleasant journey to visit the cave... More

In addition to the standard tour of the warriors and the little warriors, we wanted to see some of the Xi'An Countryside. Enter Xi'An Insiders! Julia was a delightful guide, waiting patiently for us to finish getting lost (it's a bit of a walk from the subway to her pick up point), and ready to go with cold water, a... More

I loved this tour! The last time I visited Xi'an was about 22 years ago & I was struck by how much it has changed & modernised. We saw the terracotta Warriors, the enormity of this project astounding when you see it up close! Something quite special this time was our stay in a cave, as many Chinese have lived... More

We had an amazing insiders experience in X'ian. We spent 3 days in X'ian and we'll never forget it. I travelled with my wife and 2 sons, aged 7 and 5. We saw so many sites, the beautiful X'ian countryside, the city wall, the terracotta warriors, thousand buddha temple, and a lovely winery. One night we stayed in a cave... More

In Xi'an, I had only a day and decided to register for the "Warrior Tour". It was such a treat, it was my first experience outside a Chinese city. Julia is such an excellent guide. I highly recommend this trip and others.

I had the chance to go back to Xi'an and took the opportunity to go around in another way with Xi'an insiders. Our 2 days trip wih Julia, the guide, was fantastic and staying in the troglodyte place was a pretty cool experience. Definitely unforgettable. Thanks Julia !

Trip was arranged by ex-pat daughter living in Shanghai. Wasn't sure what to expect but they more than delivered in both Xi'an (where we did the Terracota Warriors) and surrounding countryside in WWII-style Jeeps and Shanghai in WWII-style BMW motorcycles with sidecars ... an absolute hoot. Excellent, knowledgeable, friendly ex-pat guides in both cities. They picked us up at the... More

The tour was organized brillant. We visited the terracotta warriors and the panda preserve. Our tour guide Julia gave us many informations about history, food and culture. Unfortunately weather conditions were not so good (raining and fog). Local food was included. For us food was very well, but you must like Chinese food. In restaurants on country side it is... More

Definately the best and funniest outdoor activity to do in this city! We went on a 1/2 tour with relatives and discovered Xi'an from a totally different perspective! it was a memorable experience thanks to our French guide, an incredible lady, which I recommend if you ever want to do a tour in Xi'an. Their jeeps are quite comfortable, and... More
