The main feature is the rock protruding from the cliff whuch looks like an elephant trunk. Lots of market and souvenir shops. This is on the tour route and filled with visitors.

This is an iconic location in Guilin, but for the real majesty of the location make the climb up the stairs to the top. There you will have a wonderful view over the city to the mountains. Plus the walk on the trails also provides some interesting sights.

Not much to say about this attraction. It's one of those ones where you look for a moment, take a photo, then move on. Well worth seeing, though!

The cruise was a disappointment. The lunch provided was horrible. It was like feeding the pigs. The scenery was beautiful but all spoilt by its inflated price and horrible food.

tour guide brought us here, to have a view of the hill that looks like an elephant. It's too commercialize though, as there were lots of stores surrounding the area.

Other than the fact that the entrance fee is expensive, there is nothing much to say about this tourist attraction. We climbed up the elephant task mountain and we got a nice view of the city. The stairs are quite steep and wet, so please be careful. There is also a templet behind the mountain and a few centuries old... More
