With Leila's on-line assistance, I stitched together a marvellous trip. I was a bit nervous, travelling alone and somewhat off the usual tourist trail. 11 day tour, four cities and a river cruise, met by guides and drivers in each city, all executed flawlessly. Good value, markup seems fair, but watch out for heavy tip 'guidlines' presented after you pay. Seems tour guides now expect about 120 Yuan per day and drivers 60. I am dubious about this- no tipping anywhere else in China.... More
