Great trip and enjoyed the cormorant night fishing , it is a bit difficult to see in the dark though , but still worth it , only lasts 1hr .

Loved this area so pretty.Bridges changing colour, trees lit up in different colours, paths both side of the river for walking which makes an enjoyable evening.Boat trips up and down the river under the bridges to really see the area. They stop to watch a display of cormorant fishing. Was shocked at the way the birds throats were grabbed to force the fish up... do this at night time, as all lit up。 you see cormorant fishing (better than what you see on the bamboo raft), and various little shows all put on for you。 highly recommended

This is a nice ride. The lights are pretty around the lakes and you get to see a couple of lit pagodas that are not old but they are pretty at night.

It's a nice boat tour for the scenic portion of it. Yes, the lights look pretty, yes, the different bridges are beautiful and it's an interesting concept , however, if you look for authenticity , this is not your place. The buildings are new, the shows, dancers, singers, in kitchy costumes, all on display for tourist entertainment of course. Granted,... More

Visit at night - lovely scenic spot. It looks great all lit up and it's free (unlike lots of other scenic areas in Guilin)!

Although it is a relatively small area, during the day it is a peaceful haven in a busy city. At night it comes alvie, on the cruise, you slowly move around the lake to various types of entertainment. A wonderful showcase of various ethnic cultures.

China has many beautiful places, but this is not one of them. Just two towers standing in a tiny lake. There is absolutely nothing exciting. You can climb the tower, but the view of the city is not attractive. Actually, it is not worth spending time in Guilin. Move to Longji rice terraces or yangshuo.

Very few westerners walking in the park but well used by locals and by Asian visitors. If you need to know something in English find a small child (5 - 9 years old) their English is very good. They will also seek you out ... wanting to practise their English or ask to have their photo taken with you. They... More

This trip was interesting. The view is really cool and the lighting on everything is great. There are also some small performances during the ride which is very nice. The boats however are full of Chinese tourist and if your lucky you can get out but only in some area's.
