Went in August period, the cruise ride was interesting but it was terribly hot and stuffy. Be ready to fight for camera opportunity.

Whether you take the night cruise, the day cruise, or just walk around the area, these lakes and rivers are what make Guilin such a beautiful place. There is ample shade of the sidewalks, the river keeps it cooler, and is a great opportunity to admire the natural beauty in Guilin.

We live near Guilin, so we've bee on the Two Rivers and Four Lakes cruise twice. I'll try to compare the day cruise and night cruise here: Day Cruise: less expensive, usually less crowded. You can see all the karats along the river in their natural splendor. We preferred the day cruise and thought it was really beautiful! The day... More

Very nice atmosphere, boat trip in the evening is very nice. Just perfect to spend time to relax and walk around and hang.

Great pics on this cruise, especially of the Comoran fishing. The nigh photos turned out really well.

We thought that 40 dollars for a boat cruise in the evening was a little much, but this was worth every cent!! The beautiful lights along the shore, and the cormorant fishers that show you how they fish right next to your boat was amazing! They also have a Chinese Opera that performs while you cruise along, and a show... More

Terrible show, terrible boat ride! Half the people on the cruise fell asleep. Yes the views were beautiful but it's not worth it to take a cruise. You rather just walk around and see the same thing for free. The cruise took more than an hour, saw a few short dances/music playing and then back to the beginning. We were... More

Beautiful walk during the day from Lize Bridge north about 1.5 kms, along the waterway, to the Guilin Park Hotel. Very well designed, very peaceful. Didnt take the electric boat though.

Two rivers and Four lakes resort in Guilin is a new symbol of Guilin city. Besides several small hills in Guilin, water connects all hills and streets of Guilin. Four lakes are the most famous of them. I prefer a raw way to explore this attraction, by foot, since I will get closer to the water and surrounding trees, flowers... More
