Very pleasant park and gardens, with a good climb to top of hill and good views. Check out the weird lovers lane park. A story of a couple told with statues.

At the end of our tour on the Li River Cruise our guide took us to see the Elephant Trunk Hill. The elephant looked very peaceful, and content to have people stop and admire him/her. Glad we stopped.

Scenic area along the river bank with a lovely park attached - worth a stroll in the cool of the morning while locals perform their Tai Chi and dance.

Limestone formations interest me so I enjoyed this park. It may not be for everyone, as the park is built around this hill with little else to offer.

Try and go either in the morning or late at night when its cooler, but this mountain is certainly one that you should climb. The park itself is beautify and the mountain sits on the river. Spend some time and enjoy the mountain!

At ¥75 entrance fee there is not much to see. The gardens are ok but poorly signposted. Some signs will lead you straight to a locked gate. There are no signs pointing to the elephant rock so it's a case of walking around until you happen upon it, and even then you are right on top of it so you... More

A pricy and touristy park with an elephant theme. Nothing much to see other than the city from when climbing up the hill. Skip this trip if you do not fancy paying 75RMB per person to enter. There are also several shady characters offering you discount "ways to enter" just outside the park itself. They will either sell you an... More

Not the price of admission. Years ago I was there and it was cheaper and when you climb the hill you can see everything. Now it is over grown and over priced and you see nothing. See it from a distance and you do not have to pay.
