Romance at Night

The two towers are very romantic at night. Walk around in the park and take a good selfie together with your loved one!

By day or night the twin towers are a fabulous site from central Guilin. We didn't go in, but viewed and photographed the twin towers (Sun and Moon) from many angles around the magnificent walking paths the local government has around the lakes in central Guilin. Take in the views and enjoy the many eateries and markets as you stroll... More

Definitely worth a visit. Lovely place to stroll. Beautifully lit at night. Many little markets and restaurants nearby.

We only visited this area briefly , as we wanted to have a photo of these stunning pagodas at night. Beautiful.

Most of the reviews here are either for the boat ride around the lake or Fir Lake Park. Actual entrance to the towers costs 45 RMB. The only English explanation is on the board outside the towers. There is a lot of history and folklore tradition behind the two towers which English speakers miss out on, so essentially you'd just... More

I loved this place. It was so beautiful both in the day and at night. If my boyfriend had not been so hungry I would have gone into one or the other of these beautiful pagodas. Tickets were being sold even into the evening. However, just a walk around the lake is beautiful. You will have company...many Chinese Tourists. But... More

Overall a pleasant enough boat ride to see the Sun and Moon Pagoda, a quick cormorant fishing demonstration, and the general waterside scenery that is lit up at night. Although the cultural effects were very cheesy, the boat ride around the lake was very pleasant. Would maybe just stroll along the waterfront instead though (free!).

Quite pretty with all the lights & the water show if u happen to visit on fridays. But we didnt see it in... More

We took the boat tour and the scenery was beautiful at night. But is was all fake - fake pagodas, fake bridge replicas, etc. It was a Disneyland theme park instead of a tour through the authentic original moat around the city. It's probably great for kids, but childish for adults. Go and enjoy it for what it is and... More
