Charming at night

Guilin offers charming night landscapes You'll have so many choices of tours, and this park with its twin towers is one of those marvels

We took the boat tour and the scenery was beautiful at night. But is was all fake - fake pagodas, fake bridge replicas, etc. It was a Disneyland theme park instead of a tour through the authentic original moat around the city. It's probably great for kids, but childish for adults. Go and enjoy it for what it is and... More

the park which wraps around the lakes & rivers is very charming and picturesque. With a collection of architecturally different and beautiful bridges and pagodas its a tourist spot for sure. It's worth visiting by night as well as it illuminated in an interesting way! Very bright lights & different colours but still fun. Take the boat cruise to see... More

We've seen this place from afar during the day, and it just seems like any normal park. During the night though, which is when we primarily visited, the entire place is lit up. The trees on the side of the street have lights shining on them (which isn't necessarily a great thing...), lots of building are lit up, and most... More

The park is a well thought scenery of lights using the Li river surrounding the city and its bridges. The sun and moon pagodas are indeed gorgeous, specially at night with the beautiful lights reflecting on the water. It is kind of built for tourist, kind of a Disney ride, but if you like lights, and relaxing views, it's definitely... More

Nice park for a walk and to watch chinese people practicing tai chi. I preferred the day view, because at night the colourful lights make the place seems fake and tacky. Green, blue, red, yellow lights were placed exageratedly. Don't worth the trip to Guilin.

Walk for free around the lake and enjoy the reflection of the pagoda lights in the lake. The path is curvy with some inlaid stone mosaics. In the morning, morning dancers congregate nearby. There is a Starbucks at the bridge. There was a small band playing on the bridge the night we walked by. Many people stroll around the lake,... More

We walked the area with our friend from Guilin, so we had a beautiful leisurely walk around the lake. We came upon the two pagodas during the early evening, so it was nice to see them lit up. Did not pay to see them close. Beautiful area for a walk.

I say it is a poor place to visit not because of the views, the views are great but not the entrance ticket. 50RMB for one entry...come on it is just two pagodas with not much history to tell! It is nicer to photo at the pagodas from the bridge, not worthwhile to get to the top. Absolutely no need... More

The Sun and Moon Pagodas look amazing when they are all lit up at night. The park around the lake is quite small with a few bench seats, but the lake is huge. The reflections of the colourful ligh ts in the water look amazing. It is a pleasant walk around the lake, notmuch to do otherwise
