If you are from an Asean country or been there, don't waste your time watching the show as is meant for the locals. It is best to walk around the place and take photographs of the lake area.

Guilin has a ton of beautiful lakes to walk around and this isn't an exception. Very nice overall. Some would say when you've seen one lake you've seen them all and they'd be right but still this is nice to see

The Southeast Asia-themed show is kind of odd but perhaps it would be interesting for China's internal travellers. For those that went in to see the show, you could cross the bridge and get a nice view of the buildings/river built and laid out in accordance to 清明上河圖.

There is a nice walking path around the lake or you can take a cruise trip to enjoy. In the evening the towers look pretty beautiful.

This was amazing. I encourage everyone who visits Guilin to make the long hike up the mountain to under the arch of moon hill. It is absolutley beautiful! There are no storage facilities, no handicap access, no food for purchase, no restrooms but there are ladies selling water bottles. This trip isn't for everyone due to these limitations. But if... More
