Greater than our expectation of this river cruise experience - one hour. Sat on the top to enjoy the open top fantastic view! Brought our own bottle of wine and had great time/view for that hour! After the cruise, it was a nice walk along the river!

Nice to go for a stroll along the river after dinner, and look at all the buildings along the banks lit up with led displays. Dress warm: very cold and windy even in March.

the best views of Guangzhou are from the river. Take a local commuter ferry for 2 yuan - avoid the dinner cruises. Two yuan will get you a seat on the lower deck, but if you want some 'fresh' air, splash out and pay three yuan to sit on the open upper deck (with complimentary bottle of water). We went... More

Only cost $60 local dollars for a top deck seat, so reasonably priced for the 50min trip. We chose not to eat, but there are cruises with meals available. It's all about the lights so make sure your cruise leaves when it's dark. The boardwalk is lit up as is Canton Tower and a couple more buildings & bridges.. To... More

What a beautiful place this is for a long walk. It stretches for kilometre after kilometre and is most attractive at night. Lots of lights, street vendors, people walking, riding bikes, skating and boats with plenty of lights on the River. I travelled on the new Chinese Boat at night along the river. 50RMB was good value for the one... More

After our dinner at Hongxing rstn, we cross the road and we are at the river side. Nice to see those colourful cruises. We took a stroll along the river side which is cooling on a May night. There are photographers to take pic for you at a fee. Beware of traffic when cross the road. And normal precautions applied... More

Our group enjoyed the boat ride on the Pearl River. The lights on the bridges and buildings were wonderful. Move up to the top of the boat to enjoy the nice breezes.

A big boat with 2 floors, its like a floating hotel. The evening's are great on the river. The standard cruise is for around an hour. They sell soft and hard drinks and snacks on the boat. In fact you get a complimentary beer or a measure of hard drink for every ticket on the ride. Nice views. The boat... More

Pearl River on broad daylight is a definite no go. I was surprised to see the river's condition after reading so much praise about the cruise on tripadvisor forum. But you will have to agree, At night you cannot miss this beauty. The night experience is totally amazing. Though i had expected something like a hongkong river laser show or... More
