Still worth it for the small entry fee of RMB10.... More

In my point of view, I think here is the location you should visit during your Guangzhou trip. It may have few activities but there are some interesting fact about these building, such as the quote of Dr.Sun on the roof, and the believe about the number of stairs (5+9) steps before enter to the memorial hall.

The day tour I signed up for included the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in the itinerary. If you have ever been in a high school auditorium then you have seen a place that is similar. This hall is used for concerts and other events. It is not an exceptional events hall. The only thing that was positive about the visit... More

Visited this museum on our way back to the hotel. Very near to subway and we spend ~ 1 hour touring the hall. Ticket is needed for entry but cheap. A good place to stop over for history lover.

This auditorium in a small park commemorates Sun Yat-sen, the father of modern China. He was responsible for freeing the people from the last imperial dynasty. He was important because both the Communists and the Nationalists respected his leadership. In 1991 the auditorium was a disaster--even the ticket takers preferred to be outside. Now it is a stunning auditorium in... More

Nice park, decent old building (being renovated) and a good statue. Not far from Yuexiu Park and worth the short walk.
