nice view through the smog & haze. Easy to get to via subway, not much for lines fortunately because it had only 1 tiny elevator. The tower is very pretty in the evening when lit

Both day and night time is good time to go - but only if the visibility is good. Worth waiting for the right day. Sometimes admission fee are lower if you combine your ticket with eating in the rotating international buffet restaurant, which had OK food when we were there. Tickets for all available at entrance. If you walk around... More

Viewing GUangzhou from the top of Canton Tower is breath taking. I especially suggest taking the tower at night - a clear night - because the view of the Tian He mall is fantastic.

The Canton Tower is THE landmark of Guangzhou, therefore it's a can't miss sight in my opinion. Yes, it is kinda expensive and yes, there are looooooong queues, but the views over the Pearl River and the city offered, especially from the open air observation deck are not to be missed. I spent 210 yuans to go to the 111th... More

Going up on the tower is rather expensive. The food in the restaurant is surprisingly good, the service so so. The view from the tower is nice on a clear day. We went at night and also in the glass balls on the top. At night they are not so scary,... I guess during the day they are as you... More

Great experience. Worth a visit if you want to find things to do at night but could be better if no smog.. Tallest tower in Asia!

Everything looks immaculate... The view though not outstanding, was truly spectacular despite the bad haze. The food and places to go around, just makes you feel that you're in a world class city. But everything was ruined by the service crew - from Valets to Customer Service counter, there wasn't a tad bit of smile or warmth, they were cold... More

First, the price: Pretty expensive for the view. The view: Not as great as we'd hoped, the sky was a bit hazy and overcast, & visibility poor. Night lights: Yes, the buildings look pretty lit up at night, but you get a much nicer view from a boat cruising up the river, for a fraction of the price. Photos: Didn't... More
