Loved being up so high...it was smoggy, so hard to see far. We could see where the Asian games were held. We could see the river and other waterways. We went to the very top and rode on the orange bubble cars...awesome!

Well worth a visit on a clear day, with some nice restaurants underneath. Paid extra to do the bubble ride on top which was great. Would definately go again. Only negative is they tried to make us leave bags, wallets and purses with staff before going up. Can understand security, but we only left non valuables in the lockers.

To get a sense of Guangzhou's size, there's no better place to go. It is a little pricey (I'm glad I was taking a family of 6), but the views are phenomenal and the lift ride's a buzz. I went up when it was a little hazy. On a sunny day, it would be just brilliant.

I been on river side last week in one fine evening and I love every moment spent there. Awesome light effects, quite place, sky touching buildings (include canton tower) . Was just awesome
