An in your face monument to a bustling dynamic affluent city.We saw it by night on a Pearl river cruise and it looked fantastic .We wet next day by very cheap clean taxi and once we found our way through the myriad turnstiles and deciphered the instructions to what we could do we were whisked up to thetop viewing platform.... The Highest Tower in China! It Dwarfs the Centrepoint Tower back home in Sydney - The viewing platform alone is 190 meters higher! Its a must for a night visit and a ride on the "Bubble Tram" that orbits around the tower some 450+ meters above the earth!

Good itinery is: coming with the commuter-ferry from either (close to) ´Shamian Island´ or ´Beijing Road´ (where it gets to the river) when it gets dark, so You have a nice view. And afterwards crossing the river by AMB-Metro to the new town with Opera and Library and another nice view of Canton Tower

Went there with 2 of my children - unfortunately it was a foggy/smoggy day, but only option we had. You will get a good impression on the size of this city and a great view of all nearby skyscrapers. Somehow overprices for those 30 min. at most you will spend up there.

Extremely easy to get to...Metro Line 3, Canton Tower stop. A beautifully, unique designed tower. There is a big wall in the lobby with prices, pictures and description of attraction packages. We paid $228Yuan for 107th & 111th floor outdoor observation decks...children $134Yuan. Expensive but well worth the views. 107th flr: enclosed inside observation with a glass skywalk. Display cases... More

The view from the tower was amazing and it was really pretty when lit up at night. Wish I had paid to go on the bubble ride which circumnavigates the tower outside near the top.

Make sure you don't miss this site. I would recommend it at night. Enjoy the rides as well on the top.
