Majestic views. Awesome building. The restaurants are very good ... and very high up! and the highlight of our trip was the ride of the little bubbles on top of the tower.

The ride to the top is fast! View is epic on a clear day. It was rainy when were there, but still interesting to see the layout of the city. We did not go on the bubble cars around the edge (too scary!) and could still see all we wanted to from the observation deck.

if you are in Guanzhou then this is a must for anyone who wants to see the city in all it's glory and see just how vast this city really is. make your visit later in the evening and avoid the large number of children and then you will find it more relaxing.

The best time of view the tower is after sunset when the tower is lighted up. A lovely tower for photograph opportunity.

If you're in Guangzhou you must go up the Canton tower. It is better at night because it is usually clearer. For the best view go all the way to the 488 deck. It is just city as fat as the eye can see in all directions.

Love the way it is illuminated, very smart! I got an all-inclusive ticket on a Tuesday evening, so no waiting to get to the top, not much waiting for bubble car and not much waiting for the thrill ride which was awesome!! There was even plenty place in the rotating restaurant although I did not eat there. Do not go... More

I went to Guangzhou for the Annual Canton fair held in April and October each year. You have to visit this tower, it changes color beautifully. You can see the city, try to visit in the evening, of course.

Really lovely to look at , color lighting changes at night. Never been in but always makes me feel good to see. Note smog may sometimes hide the top of this magnificent tower

I got there to 5pm it takes at least 3 hours to get dark after that it is awesome, nice lights and a different view of the city. Also the place is crowded. To get there I recommend the ferry just 2 yuan and better than metro.
