This futuristic area is accessed via a metro stop called Zhujiang New Town. No ancient temples here - I felt as if I had stepped into the future. This is strictly a business district and on a Sunday, it was pretty deserted of office workers. There were also many people and families out for a Sunday stroll because it was... More

Shops, restaurants and plenty of tall, fancy buildings. Great for a stroll and to people watch. I prefer the older areas myself but this is a monument to the growth in this province. Did find a nice soup dumpling place here too called Shang Yi Long. Worth a visit!

Visiting China is always great but visiting exciting and dynamic growth regions like Zhujiang New town Guangzhou is even better. Love the place and the surroundings. Lots to explore for both personal and business. Every time I visit Guangzhou there are new things happening. A city and region to be included in future travel plans

A beautiful and well decorated place. It is a mesmerising place where beauty combines with serenity. A place where you can go for refreshment and see beautiful structures, parks, buildings and many more.

This is a Central Business District (CBD) in Guangzhou. The area near banks and embasssies is a lovely place to live due to its low traffic flow and not crowded (especially after office hours). There are many restaurants serving wide variety of local and international cuisines, shopping malls, library and museum within walking distance.

If you are looking for night life in an upscale environment then the bar street in Zhujiang New Town is the place to be. From Hooley's Irish Pub (with live entertainment) to the Bangkok Bar there is something for virtually every taste... Speaking of tastes there is an abundance of restaurants with offerings from around the globe...
