I've been there yesterday and it was definitely one of the best temples in Guangzhou. Really beutiful place, close to Ximenkou metro station (like 10 minutes walk) ...and also very cheap (ticket costs 5cny:)

Liurong Temple is one of the most inspirational places I've visited. Rich in history (with its founder, philosopher and Buddhist monk, Huineng, dating back from the Song dynasty) - the temple shows a large complex of different halls and ancient trees. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Chinese history and culture.
