The Chen Family Temple is a quaint step back in the history of China. Wander the temple graounds and explore the different rooms and the courtyard. Lots of great photo opportunities. More

This is a great spot to visit, but make sure you give yourself enough time to meander through the myriad of rooms. Some great artworks, a lovely garden and opportunity to pick up some good art and craft souvenirs. Something different to the plastic red usually offered on the main tourist strip. More

I originally thought this would be just another temple, but I was surprised at how much was packed into this attraction. First - the handwork and architecture is amazing. Second - the history of this family and what was accomplished here is amazing. Third - They took the opportunity to also display other historical artifacts from the area as well... More

There was plenty to see at this temple and the decorations and gardens were all well kept. There were lots of crft exhibitions and some demonstrations. It was very reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit More

Even though this is supposedly a "new" temple circa 1880s ( I think) it's still very impressive. The amount of detail and color of the sculputures from every corner is amazing. The temple is ease to take your time and just absorb the beauty and there is a lot to absorb. I would definitely put this on a "must see"... More

Guangzhou is so full of new buildings and new everything it was nice to excape for a while . This is an old house that is now like a musuem and has displays set up . Very intresting to look at . Gift shop . We took the metro to the Chen clan academy on line one and it was... More

A very old building with very traditional design. It was also quite big and there were lots of histtory over there. A reccomended place to go. More
