Difficult to find a place to ride a bike in Guangzhou, this is The place! There are hundreds of people biking in this park, so not the peaceful ride in the nature but at least the chance to do an activity away from the shopping malls and city crowds. I used to live next to Dafushan and I have spent countless hours biking up and down the hills and mountain bike track that is in Dafushan as well as just leisurely walking with my wife and daughter. In weekends the park gets very busy but if you can get there on a weekday afternoon it is a great place... More

We went bicycling at Dafushan Forest Park last weekend. There are dozens of shops renting bicycles outside the scenic area and you can rent one (RMB10) for a whole day. I really like this park. It's easy to rent bicycles and get around. It's a bit crowded but where is it not in China? I went here for a work activity, where we BBQ'ed together in the pits they have for rent. They will sell you charcoal and firestarters but you really need to bring everything else and you better... More
