This is a must street to visit while in Guangzhou. Specially after 10 pm in the evening as many street stools appear so bargains to be had for all

This is a favourite tourists destination. It is very crowded during weekends and public holidays. Plenty of restaurants serving local food (if you do not mind the crowd, the que and the environment). For shopping, you may get good bargain prices if you are able to shop patiently. A good experience if you have not been here before.

It has been my few visits to Guangzhou, always visit Beijing Lu. Many local and intl brands along, my favourite is still the small hidden alleys where they sell electronics like powerbank, mobile phone covers, toys, accessories and novelty items. These alleys are definitely must find as you can bargain for stuffs. There are food vendors along with many chinese... More

Stuck for a 17 hr layover in Guangzhou? This is the best place to be. A haven for shoppaholics. But not for the budget shoppers. Maybe average, but definitely not cheap. The upside is the 'walking square' is crawling with food stalls. From huge breaded squid on a stick to a bowl of nice noodle. Unfortunately, i bet the best... More

Beijing Lu (Walking Market) is a crowded part of Old Guangzhou. The average shopper will find some small deals but they are few and far between. This fact is especially true when trying to shop dureing the Canton Fair, or the weeks leading up to Spring Festival and Golden Week.

This one of the place in Guangzhou where you can see plenty of branded items selling by their own branded shops, lots of fashion branded outlets have their presence here but mind you the price are not cheap, but don't worry there always alternative hidden in the small alley along Beijing Road. Here you can find lots of locals parading... More

We were here on a public holiday and it was packed with people. It seemed like a normal shopping street, nothing special, but interesting to watch all the young people shopping with their friends, It seemed the cheap shopping in Guangzhou is in the markets.

A terrific street for an evening of fun. Lots of shops and restaurants of all kinds. Busy, crowded, fun. Not for high end shopping but perfect for souvenirs.

The entire area of Beijing Lu, is one huge shopping mall. It is a pedestrian mall, so no fear of being run over by cars, but beware of bicycles. There are shops that sell just about anything you want - clothes, electrical products, household products of all kinds - some very imaginative ones too - fake designer bags that are... More

If you are nearby good to take a quick look but not worth going out of your way. Its just a street with shops and a few places to eat just like most streets in big Chinese cities except here part of it is blocked to cars.
