We had a great time in this place. To see many Pandas live is really exciting. The place is quite big with all sorts of animals not in cages. Restaurant are abundant and good.. Walking under the trees saved us from the direct hit of the sun.. Though it's very hot and humid, we had fun!

It was awesome , only even after hats, umbrella and stroller fan , the heat still got us ! We took the metro to get to hanxi changlong station . After that the free shuttle bus across the foot bridge to reach the safari park south gate. When you buy the tickets please take a picture of the show timings... More

Enterance was 250¥, for additional 30¥ you can take a picture with puppy of a snow tiger (you can touch him cuddle etc.). Same applies for koalas, but for additional 50¥. I went there for a sole purpose of being able to get close to koalas and I was satisfied. Food and drink price is not that high (don't bring... More

One of the best zoos with pandas who seemed active and happy. White tigers and tiger cubs were amazingly beautiful. Plan for 3 hours and go before 17:00 as ticket counter closes by then.

Got to see bunch of cool animals there, like a real safari. The park is really big. Also took a picture with koala from Australia. Anyone who loves animals should go there!

Please do some research before going here- many animal welfare groups have serious concerns about cruelty and overcrowding. Captive facilities in China do not have have a good reputation and do not have western standards. As for the review that said the animals are smiling - how do you know?? To be avoided.

The panda exhibit is air conditioned! Skip the animal "shows" especially if short on time, they were not that impressive. Lots to see here. The safari gets you up close to lots of animals. Nothing like seeing a herd of giraffes galloping right past you!

I have been to many, many zoos all throughout the United States and in multiple countries and this was one of our favorites. We had a great time. Its a huge zoo and we felt we got very close to the animals, but we felt incredibly safe. The animals appeared to be happy also- or as happy as could be... More

Whilst the cost was high, it is clear that the money is well spent in caring for the animals, providing excellent, large enclosures. The animals nearly all seemed very happy. There were also a lot of staff ensuring that no one was throwing food at animals or littering. The whole park was very clean. We did not choose to see... More

The Safari Park has a lot lot lot of wildlife animals, and a lot of such animals are new to me. Plus, animal shows are fantastic. Personally, I like the white tigers.
