I have been travelling for the last few years due to work, but I don't always have the time to just go exploring. I read all the trip adviser reviews beforehand and decided to go on a Tuesday - my last day in GuangZhou. A day ticket is merely 250 RMB. I arrived around 10:30 and spent the whole day,... More

I'd recommend coming fairly early in the morning so that you don't miss any of the shows. I arrived after 10 am and that was perhaps a little late to see everything in 1 day. There is so much to see, you end up spending a very short time at each exhibit. Some of the animals near the entrance are... More

Great open zoo. Suggest you start with the small safari where you get really very close to the animals who are all visible in open spaces. No cages around. Great pics opportunities and your kids will just love it ! Tremendous variety of animals. Nice walking trails, clean, very well indicated and lot of interactions with animals possible. Suggest to... A terrific zoo! Huge zoo with lots of animals! Even the number of tigers and pandas are impressive! Most importantly, the animals look active and are visible for visitors. Lots of photo taking opportunities. At certain animal exhibits, they sell food for u to feed the animals. They do not give change at such stations so prepare small notes in... More

The zoo in Singapore only consists of a few animals in each exhibit. Here, you can see droves of them.

Chimelong Xiangjiang Safari Park is the best zoo I've ever been to. The park is so big. We went there on a weekday and the visitors were few. We were able to enjoy the park because of the animals they keep there. They have white tigers and they're so beautiful. They also have big bears and panda bears, and let's... More

This is simply the best zoo we've been to, in any country. The animals look well-fed, the enclosures are reasonable sized, and both animals and enclosures are clean and tidy. To get the most of your visit, you should allow yourself about 7-8 hours to see everything, including all the various shows and performances. Do the train safari early on,... More

Chimelong Xiangjiang Safari Park is worth the trip to Guangzhou alone. Simply stunning park, so huge and all the animals have plenty of space. You can easily spend the whole day here, if you´ve got the time.. so much to do and so much to see! You can also buy ticket for longer periods, so you don´t need to do... More

A friend recommended that we try this zoo out. It's amazing. I'm impressed with how clean and well taken care of the animals are. There were babies animals of all species pretty much. That's equally impressive on how they are breeding so many animals successfully. I think this says something about their care and well being. The exhibits were clean.... More
