I visited museum to get an idea of the history of the area. There are several sections in the museum. Nature sections houses meteorite and a lot of supportive materials, as well as an extensive selection of regional flora and fauna from ancient time till present moment. I mostly likes the section about different ethnic groups and respective household items.... More

I've been to the Museum for a couple of times, and I can tell you the place is right if you're into discovering the area inhabitants, animals, birds, and the like. What's more, the museum houses the meteorite that exploded in the skies over the city on Feb 15, 2013, and seeing it with your own eyes is a worthwhile,... More

Visited this Museum to try and get a sense of the history if the area. It has different sections on Modern HIstory (particularly the October Revolution and second world war and consequent rise of industry). However there are also really interesting Sections on the history of the confluence of different ethnic groups in the area, including clothing and social history.... More

Ordinary russian museum with exposition about history and nature of south ural. Sometimes with interesting temporal exibition.
