It was a breath taking trek in midsummer from the village of Tyungur to the Belucha mountain which is located on the China-Mongolia-Russia border. Best to be done in groups of more than 6 people with local guides all the way and professional advise for the preparation of food and equipment for the participants. This is where I wish I could write Russian , stayed in a resort at the bottom of the Altai mountains . In a log cabin for 4 days , absolutely amazing views, the smell and taste of the air unbelievable. You have to be quiet fit , went up a cable car for the most breath taking views.travelled from... It was first rafting in my life. I was surprised adrenaline River, beautiful mountains around, clean air, Russian bath. We were on water 5 days. I don't know what tell more. I advise everyone and if you have questions ask.

What is Altai? Average Russian kid will tell you it’s mountains somewhere in Siberia. Many tourists even happened to be there.
