The palace square is very big and you will find yourself very small when you are there. This square is very impressive and is surrounded by huge buildings with Hermitage museum on one side. It's so huge that it is very difficult to catch its whole view in one picture.

Very large and open area where tons of tourists and locals met and gather to enjoy all the breath taking viewers of the near by palaces. The Palace Square is a very impressing square with huge free standing granite column in the middle. You feel very small in this place. The buildings surrounding the square are huge and extensive and look even different iat different hours due to the light. Very impressing and breathtaking. Very nice spot to be

This is a beautiful place in the daytime, but even better at night, when all the buildings are nicely illuminated and there are fewer people around.

Standing at this square you really feel small !! With the biggest single piece granite column in the middle of the square, and with the Palace and the other surrounding buildings - this is really breathtaking !
