Great all-round view of some of the landmarks in St. Petersburg, including the Hermitage and Peter & Paul Fortress. Generally a stop-off point for newly wed Russian couples to have their photo taken by the water.

This is another place for a quick pic... that is about it. The old Stock Exchange sits on a very busy road infront of a canal.

This museum is no longer here. Everything has moved to near Ploshad Truda, check it out. The old spot has been there for decades, and was well known to all, in a perfect spot for a Naval Museum, right on the river. The new location is very odd...

The two lighthouses standing in front of the Naval Museum served as navigational aids on the Neva River. Today they are lit with gas lights for special occasions.
