The wild horses (two of which have their horseshoes and two do not) are tamed by man similar to the river with the granite-stoned shores they are meant to decorate. Thanks to the talent of the architect Piotr Klodt the bridge is very spectacular and very much coincides with the spirit of the city :))

There are 4 horse statues on this bridge. Each is of a different place in breaking a horse. Everyone loves this area. If you take a cruise you'll see if from the water as well.

If you're walking down Nevskiy Prospect from either end, you're bound to come across this bridge. Tourist boats pass under this bridge while on their river cruises. It's difficult to click a photo of this statue without being photo bombed because of the bridge being immensely crowded at all times during the day and sometimes at night too.

A rather grand landmark displaying 4 horses, one on each corner of the bridge. You can see the canals and also the very wide and long Nevskiy Prospect main street through the city centre. Another frequently photograhed landmark.

Crowded and alive. Was there for the parade celebration a few Saturdays ago. And I thought that Time Square was busy.

The ornate ironwork on this bridge is spectacular. We saw this bridge via land and canal and both offer unique perspectives.
