A lot of souvenirs can be purchased at this shopping center (it's not exactly a mall in the American sense) and there is a good fur shop on the second floor with high quality hats, coats and other accessories at reasonable prices.

I love this place, for you can get almost anything in it, from practical purchases such as housewares, food and stationary to gifts and souvenirs. Gostiny Dvor is conveniently located in the centre of the city and even has its "own" metro station. I particularly like the Zenit football club store, which has the friendliest assistants. I'm not very much into walking the shopping malls, so Gostiny Dvor didn't have much appeal to me. It's big, all right, and you can buy lots of stuff here, from souvenirs to designer clothes to original Beluga caviar (it IS expensive, you won't get it in most normal food malls); there's also a shop doing marvels out of chocolate....

Check out the souvenir shops on the first floor facing the Nevsky Prospect. You will find a great selection of authentic souvenirs at reasonable prices (unlike other places such as Onegin)
