Impressive statue! it's well sculpted and it really makes an impression, as it's in the middle of a completely empty park. Stands out! Easily combined with a stroll along the riverside or a visit to St Isaac's cathedral or Winter palace.

What a wonderful way to end our trip to the city of Peter the Great. The monument is worth seeing and so close to St. Issac's cathedral.

If you pass by on the tour bus, take a snap, if you have the opportunity to walk by, take a moment to appreciate the history and grand sculpture.

I enjoyed seeing this lovely monument of peter, very Communistic in its style but shows the respect that the people of St petersburg have for Peter still.
